Michele Bachmann claims Keith Ellison may have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood

July 21, 2012

Michele Bachmann came under fire last week by members of both parties for stating her belief that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated the top levels of the United States government–up to and including Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin. Former presidential candidate and current RINO John McCain was among those who said that Michele Bachmann’s claim was baseless,  as was the weepy eyed Speaker of the House John Boehner, but according to this story there may be reason for concern:

in order to dismiss Bachmann’s concerns that easily, we have to ignore three huge problems:

1. Abedin’s mother is not only a member of the Muslim Sisterhood, but also sits on the Guidance Board of that organization. Making her not only a member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s female auxiliary, but also a prestigious member.

2. Another member of the Muslim Sisterhood’s Guidance Bureau is Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi’s wife, which means Abedin’s mother and the wife of an renowned Muslim Brotherhood member are in regular and frequent contact.

3. Lastly, Abedin’s brother, Hassan Abedin, has allegedly collaborated with Omar Naseef and Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, two of the most influential terror supporters in the world

Maybe Michele Bachmann knows of which she speaks after all, and maybe our elected officials are just too cowardly  to admit the truth, or too enslaved to political correctness to address this issue.

Michele Bachmann is not backing down in the face of withering criticism from both parties and in fact she has doubled down by adding the name of the first Muslim ever elected to the United States House of Representatives, Keith Ellison, to the list of people who have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood:

Well, he has a long record of being associated with (the Council on
American-Islamic Relations) and with the Muslim Brotherhood

Are these claims baseless? It doesn’t even matter because if there is one thing that Barack Obama has taught us during his reelection campaign it is this: Any accusations can be thrown out at a candidate regardless of whether or not there is proof–you can call your opponent a felon and a criminal–and it is up to that person to prove that he  or she is innocent of the charges. If the person does not he is assumed guilty.

You are guilty until proven innocent, that is how the Obama campaign has treated Romney, so using that precedent I think now that the accusations have been thrown out there it is up to both Huma Abedin and Keith Ellison to prove their innocence and it doesn’t even matter if the claims are baseless. Perhaps releasing all of their tax returns would help to prove they haven’t donated to the Muslim Brotherhood, if they refuse to do so we can assume they have because that is what Barack Obama has taught us.

Oh, and by the way, wasn’t Valerie Jarrett born in Iran?

Ir would be nice if Michelle has somrthing to back up her claims that she put out there for all to see. One thing is for sure, Muslims in the US have an in ordinate amout of influence in all levels of government, Look at Dearborn, Michigan.

She made her claims based on a Center for Securty Report which she and the others on the Foreign Intelligence Committee read, she is the only one who dared to speak out.

CoF, isn’t it the case that there’s a large Muslim population in Dearborn? What you said is kind of like saying Mormons have an inordinate amount of influence in the government of Salt Lake City.

If Keith Ellison aligns himself with CAIR, then he’s an advocate of a terror group. Are we to assume that he just pals around with terrorists but isn’t one himself? Where have I heard that question before?

So . . . you guys decide that CAIR is composed of terrorists, while simultaneously excoriating the President for what you claim is an unAmerican practice of treating someone as guilty until proven innocent and defending Michelle Bachman for doing the same.

Exactly! I am simply using the precedent set by the president to throw accusations around. It is now up to these people to prove it is wrong. The point of this post was to show what can happen when people are accused of something and then asked to prove the accusations false.

Thank You Michelle Bachman for standing up to the republican party with truth they can’t handle. Boehner & mccain are leading the republicans over a cliff with turncoat attitudes like theirs. I always vote republican but I shouldn’t have to vote holding my nose or getting who the media pick for us.

It is getting tiring to watch these Republicans let us down time and time again knowing we have to vote for them or face Obama. They know it too and that is why they figure they can get away with it.

Personally, I think it’s shameful that a self-professed Christian would attempt to discredit an entire religion with the evil acts committed by a handful of extremists – the same way some extremists attempt to paint Christianity as an evil religion based on events in the past and modern extremists.

What I think is happening is that Ms. Bachmann misses the spotlight. Thoughtful friends of the First Amendment, though, will not appreciate her abuse of free speech to malign Islam, much the same way many in the past have maligned Mormonism.

Take good care and may God bless us all.

Islam is a religion like Communism is a religion. Islam is a power mad cult posing as a religion and no believers are its enemy. Read the Koran. Its purpose is world domination and the elimination of all non muslims. IMHO that being said; the only good muslim is a dead muslim.

This is all so academic. The 10 billion man march on the US is in full swing. With the thundering hoard of self-flagellating apologists softening up the the thoughtless in this country, as evidenced by the election of the first muslim of Kenyan birth to the highest office in the land, it is only a matter of time before we are overthrown from within. Anthony Weiner is smarter than all of us since he has hedged his bet on the future through marriage to one of the invaders.
