Here is the open thread for Wednesday, August 22nd. Feel free to post links to interesting articles and discuss whatever happens to come up during the day.
Right now I am thinking I will do one open thread on Wednesday and one on Saturday, we’ll see how it goes.
Up until Todd Akin opened up his mouth and made one of the biggest political blunders in recent memory Joe Biden had been in the news quite a bit recently so I thought I would dedicate this post to him. I give you some of Joe Biden’s greatest hits. Enjoy!

the washingtonexaminer.com has an article from 8-20-2012 stating the democratic party paid 1.5 million to help akin win the primary. Also the word akin means trouble. I think it’s very appropriate for this guy who’s got to go because the democatic party is drooling to keep him.

I heard that as well, some Democrats even crossed party lines to vote for him in the primary. They knew he wasn’t that smart and so they voted for him because they probably felt he would say something stupid eventually.

What they’re talking about: republicans’ decimation of Medi-care, republicans’ war on women, abortion, republican tax returns, dogs on republicans’ car rooves, racist republicans, republicans’ income.
What they should be talking about: Obama’s failed economy, runaway unemployment, energy crisis, keystone pipeline, Warren Buffet’s role in killing the Keystone pipeline, the falling dollar, Obama’s gutting of the military, Obama’s czaring around the constitution, Obama’s illegal executive orders, Sallie Mae’s usury, Fannie and Freddie scandals, illegals bankrupting hospitals and schools, Obama’s illegal granting of amnesty for illegals, immunity for drug cartels, tort reform, Obama’s march towards socialism, Obama’s horrendous foreign policy, abandonment of returning injured and wounded vets.
But why upset the electorate with real issues when we can talk about Michelle’s victory garden?

Jerrett and Axelrod knew Obama was inept so they had to get him a VP that would make him look good by comparison.

That is a likely scenario, but just think about that statement for a minute if it is true! They didn’t think Obama was smart enough so they got someone even dumber, that is truly scary!

Ray Stevens has a website where he sings about obamanation, it’s honest and hilarious. the website is http://www.raystevens.com, he even mentions bill ayers, communism and socialism, it’s good.

It might not be, the last three major polls have over sampled Democrats to make the polls look closer than they are. I think they are trying to convince Democrats it isn’t as bad as it seems while at the same time trying to dissuade Republicans from voting…..at least I hope that is the case.

Obama and his crew apparently believe women are essentially stupid not to see through his sham. Granted, we are losing the single women’s vote, but apparently his convention will focus on women’s issues, and he just might have taken it one bridge too far.

We can certainly hope so! I think this helps him with young women, but they were probably going to vote for him anyway.
