Paul Ryan’s speech at the Republican National Convention

August 30, 2012

Paul Ryan took to the stage at roughly 10:25 last night to accept his nomination as Republican candidate for Vice President of the United States and quite frankly, he knocked it out of the park last night.

Paul Ryan came out swinging and he didn’t let up; hammering the Obama regime for broken promises, failed leadership, the economy, jobs, Obamacare, not passing a budget, not taking responsibility, passing the buck, the failed stimulus and the money funneled to Democrat donors, class warfare politics, Solyndra and make believe markets, the central planners in our government trying run our live from afar, and just about everything you could think of.

I am sure I left something out, but perhaps my favorite moment was when he called Barack Obama out on Medicare. Barack Obama has been telling everyone who could listen that Paul Ryan’s budget was a radical, extremist, irresponsible budget which would end Medicare as we know it. Paul Ryan reminded the American people last night that the only person who has actually cut Medicare was Barack Obama himself and declared that the biggest threat to Medicare was Obamacare. He turned the tables on Barack Obama on this issue and promised that this Medicare fight was a battle the Republicans will win.

Here is the video of his speech, if you haven’t seen it is well worth listening to. Mitt Romney is going to have a tough time trying to beat this:

Let’s just hope and pray that enough people get their heads out of their butts, and turn their backs on the Obama Regime that operates on Lies, Propaganda and Scare Tactics, along with Racial and Class Warfare, and Vote Republican in record numbers. Even the Welfare Deadbeats need to understand that if the Obama Regime is re-elected, they will totally Crash The USA economy and system of governance, and chaos will ensue and there will be No More Freebies for anybody as everybody will be scrambling to fend for themseleves to get a loaf of bread.

Thank you, Steve, for posting Ryan’s speech. My internet service went down just as Condoleezza Rice was being introduced. Wow! Ryan did a superb job. Romney picked the right running mate, didn’t he? Now we go on the offense. This is what we have been waiting for.

Romney picked the perfect running mate in my opinion! This was a great speech and it still has me pumped up today.

I hope people like Ryan enough that they will vote for HIM as much as Romney…

Romney is a business guy, and that’s what we need, but he needs to loosen up, personality, or lack thereof, can cost him a race…

Count me as one of those who will be voting for Romney because of Ryan, and I have to think there are many more like me out there. At least I hope so.

It was a good speech! I am sure it will be dissected and parts pulled out to be put on the air that make it sound like he said something different, but hopefully most are wise to that crap. All in all, last night was a good night, hope tonight will be as good or better.

The Dems are already tearing this speech apart and we know that they will chop it up to make it seem like he said the opposite of what he did say. remember when they cut up Romney’s speech about the sub shop where they made it seem as if he was amazed by the automated process, when in reality he was comparing private ingenuity to public ineffectiveness? We can expect more of that. Here’s hoping Romney can at least match Ryan’s speech.
