I have been working a little overtime which means I head into work an hour early, so I didn’t have time to put up the open thread for Wednesday before I left. I am a little late but here it is; feel free to post links to interesting articles and talk about whatever happens to come up during the course of the day.

Two topics: the Yahoo correspondant who said something to the effect of Republicans wanting states with dead black people, and then I think it was our own Californian John Burton who compaired Republican speaches with the Nazi propaganda.

No the msm doesn’t care and earlier today a Democrat compared Nikki Haley to Eva Braun and not a word was said about it.

Seems that the dems are moving Barack’s speech from the Bank of America Stadium (seats about 70,000) to the Time-Warner Arena (seats about 19,000) they used the weather excuse, but rumors are circulating that they were unable to fill the stadium. I have a tendency to believe that. Seems the crowds have abandon Barack. After all the DNC was having to bus in people from Georgia and SC—something stinks. Looking for clear skys over Charlotte, but storm clouds over the DNC!

I read that Obama was offering free tickets to the speech and was busing people in to the speech as well but the Democrats were having trouble filling the stadium. Two days ago I read a story which said the Democrats were going to move the speech indoors to a much smaller venue and would use the weather as an excuse and today they did just that. I believe this is true, they couldn’t fill the stadium so they found an excuse to move the speech to a smaller venue.

There just isn’t that “glow” about him anymore, is there? I listened to a very small part of Michelle’s speech, had enough and turned it off. What I am curious about, is WHY they (media) are not fact-checking all that she said? They could not wait to do it at the RNC, is it off limits at the DNC? Just wondering here! As for the change of venue??? I am of the opinion that they could not pay enough people to take a bus for the day to sit thru a bunch of lies…the weather was something to fall back on. I do know that they will be making sure they fill the 22,000 seats in the new arena, or will really look bad. I feel bad for the 50+ thousand that really, really wanted to come that will not have seats now. /s

I did see on the Daily Caller or Breitbart, I forget which one, that fact checkers found that much of her speech was BS, this of course will not be reported in the MSM.

We are supposed to believe that the Democratic party has the best interest of women, when they parade around in crude costumes and are wearing trashy buttons like they are doing? As far as I am concerned they care nothing about women and are degrading them. I would like to think that we are thought of as equals to men, but apparently not in the DNC.Can this election get any more stupid than this?

Nope, not equals at all according to the DNC. Women are just another group which the Democrats hope to exploit in their divide and conquer strategy. They care nothing about individuals, they see us as different groups which can be used to their advantage by playing us against one another.

Rush had it right when he said the inside of the convention would look like the star wars bar scene. As for the speeches it reminded me of that movie from 1980, “Raging Bullshit”. Michelle was lying and the crowd was buyting

When you look at the types of people the Democrats had speaking and compare it to the Republican speakers there is really no comparison to be made.
