Libyan officials claim they gave the United States three days warning an attack was coming at the embassy
Barack Obama’s narrative about the attack on the United States embassy in Libya being a spontaneous protest fueled by an anti-Islamic video is beginning to crumble at his feet.
First came news that the United States was warned the day before the attacks that something was imminent, then came news the United States actually had two days notice an attack was coming which was followed by the news that an intelligence source on the ground in Libya provided information which proved these attacks were well coordinated and not the offspring of a protest against an obscure You Tube video.
And now today comes news that Libya security forces are claiming they gave the United States government three days notice an attack was coming, and yet our government still claims they didn’t have actionable intelligence?
This is the part of the story, which has gone vastly under-reported, which really damns the Obama regime and offers what I believe is the ultimate proof that this wasn’t simply a protest which was hijacked by extremists during the course of events:
The Americans who escaped from the consulate made their way to a “safe house” at a supposedly secret location. That, too, came under mortar fire. Captain Fathi al-Obeidi, who had taken an eight-strong American rescue team which had arrived from Tripoli to the safe house, said “I don’t know how they found the place to carry out the attack. It was planned, the accuracy with which the mortars hit us was too good for any ordinary revolutionaries.”
In my opinion there is no way the safe house was just stumbled upon as a peaceful protest escalated into a full blown attack. Somebody gave away the location of the safe house well in advance and the safe house was always the target of a well planned attack. (Which just happened to occur on the anniversary of September 11th, another under-reported aspect to this story.)
It is becoming more and more obvious that the Obama regime is lying in an attempt to save Dear Leader’s reputation, after all he did claim that merely by his election Muslim violence would stop.
We need to know what Barack Obama knew about this attack, and we need to know when he knew it. If he is unwilling to come clean then it is time for the Congress to begin investigating this dereliction of duty.

There may be long legs to this story. It will become clear in the end, but not nearly as quickly as it should.

Despite the media’s attempt to divert our attention from this issue with Romney’s 47% “gaffe” I also believe this story has legs and while we may not know all the details until after the election, this should be an election issue because I don’t think many people believe Barack Obama’s lame excuse.

Both Egypt and Libya are telling us they warned us about the impending attacks on our embassies. But they didn’t send their armies out to protect thos embassies nor has any other nation and all are required to do so.

They may have warned us, but I don’t think they are saddened by the results. The new leadership in these countries are not our friends, but we have Barack Obama’s support of the Arab Spring to thank for that.

I would also like to know the answer to those questions. Clearly, there is much more to these attacks, especially the ones in Libya, than just the protesting of the YouTube video.

And now we are learning the State department issued a travel warning to Libya two weeks ago and yet our diplomats weren’t warned? There is much more to this story than we are being led to believe.

maybe. Just maybe, if the Romney people won’t use this information, the Congress may do it for them. Americans have got to know what a complete failure Obama is. This time his failure cost American lives.

I hope so too Jim, it is clear Romney won’t use the issue after he backed down from his original statement.

Well good thing the media can talk about Romney now, eh?

A very convenient diversion, don’t you think?

This is serious business indeed and needs to be brought to the forefront of the american consciousness, but don’t bet on it. While the state run media lambastes Romney for commenting in a responsible manner neither Romney or his handlers can make a case for Obama’s culpability in the middle east’s going up in flames as well as the impending economic collapse, unemployment, the energy crisis, etc.
But all this takes a back seat to other issues such as pictures of the royal ta tas, and the presidential personality contest.
I contnue to maintain that the money/power brokers dealt this election to the dem’s long ago; after all it is their turn. Was it yeterday or today that the one armed bandit McCain lectured the country on how they should not fear Obama? Before he went to Washington this freak sold cars and screwed people one at a time, he became a politician and and cluster f—ed the whole country in one fell swoop.

Romney made an initial statement on this issue where he told the truth and he was lambasted by the media until he backed down. He was right but he shrunk under the heat, and my biggest concern about Romney was that he wouldn’t take the fight to Obama. It now looks as if I was right.
