The State Department issued a travel warning to Libya two weeks before the attack, but Chris Stevens wasn’t warned?

 The hits just keep on coming…..

  I just finished a post about the attack on the United States embassy in Libya on the anniversary of September 11th, and about new evidence which shows the Obama regime knew an attack was imminent and did nothing to protect our diplomats, and lo and behold the news gets even worse for Dear Leader.

  As if it weren’t bad enough that Libyan security forces are now claiming they warned the Obama regime an attack was coming three days before it happened, we are now learning the the Obama regime thought the situation on the ground in Libya was so perilous they issued a travel warning to Americans two weeks before the attacks on the embassy in Libya.

  Here is part of said warning:

The Department of State warns U.S. citizens against all but essential travel to Libya. The incidence of violent crime, especially carjacking and robbery, has become a serious problem. In addition, political violence in the form of assassinations and vehicle bombs has increased in both Benghazi and Tripoli…In addition, political violence, including car bombings in Tripoli and assassinations of military officers and alleged former regime officials in Benghazi, has increased. [emphasis mine]

In June 2012, an unknown group of attackers detonated an improvised explosive device outside the compound of the U.S. embassy’s office in Benghazi. There have also been attacks on diplomatic vehicle convoys. Any U.S. citizen who decides to travel to Libya should maintain a strong security posture by being aware of surroundings, avoiding crowds and demonstrations, keeping a low profile, and varying times and routes for all required travel. [emphasis mine]

  The Obama regime twice used the word ‘assassination’ and warned of previous attacks on United States diplomats and was so concerned about the situation that a travel advisory to Libya was issued warning about the potential of violence in the war torn country, and yet when warned about an impending attack on the embassy the government did nothing to protect the very diplomats it claimed were in harm’s way in the travel warning.

  There is no excuse for this incompetence; in my last post on this issue (linked above) I said the American people deserved to know what Barack Obama knew and they deserved to know when he knew about it. That question now seems moot as it appears he knew about the danger at least two weeks ago, the new question is why did Barack Obama allow this to happen when he knew of the danger?

  Was Chris Stevens sacrificed for a greater cause as was Brian Terry and Jamie Zapata?
