Barack Obama calls the terrorist attack on the United States consulate in Libya a “bump in the road”
Last night Barack Obama appeared on ’60 Minutes’ and he was asked by Steve Kroft if the recent events in the Middle East had made Barack Obama rethink his support of the governments which have come to power since the United States backed (my words, not Steve Kroft’s) Arab Spring began.
This is what Barack Obama had to say in reply:
Well, I’d said even at the time that this is going to be a rocky path. … But I was pretty certain and continue to be pretty certain that there are going to be bumps in the road because– you know, in a lot of these places– the one organizing principle– has been Islam. The one part of society that hasn’t been controlled completely by the government.”
A terrorist attack on the United States consulate in Libya, timed to coincide with September 11th, which led to the rape and murder of our ambassador as well as three of his aides–Americans–who Barack Obama didn’t provide protection for even though Chris Stevens wrote in his journal that he was worried about an attack is nothing but a bump in the road to the man whose first response was to side with the protesters against the man who supposedly began this trouble with a You Tube video? Really!
Of course this isn’t the first time the Obama regime has reacted so callously toward the loss of Americans lives. When talking about the Fast and Furious scandal ATF Supervisor David Voth once categorized Brian Terry’s death thusly:
if you are going to make an omelette, you need to scramble some eggs
Scrambled eggs and mere bumps in the road–collateral damage–that is how Barack Obama feels about the people who get in the way of his agenda, and if they have to die in order for him to move his agenda forward so be it. The end justifies the means.

With those on the left the end will always justify the means. The reason for this is quite simple when you stop to think about it—-they have no moral compass!

There are so many four letter words I would like to use to tell you how this piss poor excuse for a president makes me feel. This man does not deserve to call himdelf an American. If he was any kind of a man, he would resign in shame.

I hear you there Jim, this story is infuriating on so many levels and Obama just doesn’t seem to give a damn.

I can not describe how Obama’s attitude grates on my nerves. It is absolutely infuriating to hear him speak so callously about the deaths of our people.

I couldn’t agree more, at this point I can’t even stand to hear him open his mouth.

We have to admit that he can always find someone else to blame for what he is pulling. Couple that with the fact the media refuses to point the finger his way and we have a run away president that will do what he wants. Ron, you are correct in your assessment, Jim, call away with those words, we all feel that way, LD, your anger is well placed, Steve, you agree with all of them as I do….SO, we have Ron, Jim, LD, Steve and myself all pissed off, that makes 5 of us. How many more Americans do you think feel that way? I would judge there are alot. I am hoping that the ballot box, if not tampered with, will have that proof. The man (term used lightly) is a walking time bomb, he needs to be defused. he needs to shut up and we deserve representation that comes with morals, ethics and values, we have not seen that for a few years.

I think there are many more of us also and I think the media is doing all it can to make it appear as if Obama is winning so we will be discouraged and stay home. That is not going to happen; people see through the media and they see through Obama and they do not like what they see.

I saw this comment on another blog, thought it was fitting as to what should/could be done…too bad Obama didn’t feel the need to take care of OUR people:
“A couple of 50 cal machine guns mounted on the top of the consulate, and operated by a guy sitting at a console in Peoria, could have easily stopped the attack”.
Now I seem to think this was a pretty damn good idea. But, we have a 24/7 detail around Valerie Jarrett, guess a man (term used lightly) has his priorities, right?
