Fort Hood victims are not receiving proper benefits because the Obama regime labeled the attack “workplace violence”
I think we can all agree that when a man yells “Allahu Akbar” and then opens fire on unarmed Americans, killing thirteen and injuring dozens more that this is an act of terror.
That is precisely what happened at Fort Hood on November 5th, 2009, yet after telling the American people not to jump to conclusions the Obama regime decided to label this terrorist attack an act of “workplace violence.” This was done for obvious political reasons, Barack Obama did not want to admit that a terrorist attack happened on his watch and on American soil, but the consequences of this decision go well beyond mischaracterizing the attack.
Because the attack was labeled “workplace violence” the victims of the attack are not receiving the benefits they should be entitled to:
The difference between labeling the incident “workplace violence” and “terrorism” is not only the rightful recognition 13 of our troops deserve for being killed in service to their country on Nov. 5, 2009, but also ongoing benefits that would help survivors pay for the physical therapy, and other medical and psychological treatments that might be necessary to a full recovery
Barack Obama put his political future ahead of the future of those harmed by the terrorist attack at Fort Hood and the news doesn’t stop there for the injured are not even eligible to receive the Purple Heart for their sacrifice to this country.
This is absolutely disgusting and the victims and their families are beginning to push back; The Coalition of the Fort Hood Heroes has released a video demanding the Obama regime to “stop the charade” and do right by these American heroes.
I hope that the victims of this attack receive what rightfully belongs to them but just ask the families of Brian Terry, Jamie Zapata, and Chris Stevens what Barack Obama is most concerned about at this time and I think they would all tell you it is his reelection. And unfortunately Barack Obama feels that telling the truth about these attacks will hurt his prospects of reelection so they must be sacrificed for what he considers to be the greater good.
I heard a talking head saying the problem is that the attacker is an Army officer and is technically imocent until a cout martial declares him quilty. I don’t buy that. The problem was calling it a work place incident. He could not have been arrested (captured) as a prisoner of war. In mt opinion, he could have been charged with treason, at least. On second thought, why couldn’t he have been treated as a terrorist who infiltrated the ranks of the Army?

I’m not buying it either, why couldn’t the court’s martial bring up terrorism and treason charges?

Terrible. This is the only place I have read this. The guy freaking screamed “God is great!” before he opened fire…

Insane! Obama put himself ahead of the victims and more people should be outraged by it.

How does calling it one thing or another get people something they wouldn’t otherwise get? I kinda need that part spelled out for me.

Because they weren’t injured on the field of battle they aren’t eligible for certain benefits, however if this were a terrorist attack they would be.

It was fourteen dead – one of the women killed was w/ child. I beleive in Texas the unborn child counts in a crime such as this.

Thanks, I did not realize one of the women was pregnant, it makes an already horrific event even more tragic.

I agree this was and always will be a terrorist attack. I got sick during the burning of the oil ridges over in the sandbox. I am 100% service connected, but my paper work says I am 184% service connected. I cant receive over 100%. But don’t these guys and gals get total medical benefits from the VA.
