Was the EPA using a secret email account to hide documents?
The big news from last week was of course the sex scandal involving General Petraeus. The media loves a good sex scandal and this was no exception, but this scandal served a dual purpose because it also provided the Obama regime and its propaganda arm with a diversion from the real Benghazi scandal and the ensuing cover-up.
The propaganda arm of the Obama regime was able to turn the whole Benghazi scandal into a sex scandal while taking the focus off the true scandal; that being Barack Obama’s failure to heed the warnings an attack was imminent, his failure to send in reinforcements once the attack was underway, and the cover-up which followed and is still ongoing.
There are really two separate scandals here although the propaganda arm of the Obama regime would have us believe otherwise…..but I digress.
One thing we learned during the last week was a trick that General Petraeus and his lover were using to hide the affair, and that is the fact they set up a secret email account and saved all their correspondence in a draft folder to avoid detection. Now it turns out that David Petraeus wasn’t the only person within the Obama regime which may have been using a fake email account to hide what was really going on if this story is true.
It is now being reported that an administrator with the EPA, Lisa Jackson, might have set up a secret personal account–complete with the alias “Richard Windsor” and used that account to conduct official EPA business. And according to sources this was done at the request of the White House:
They’ve been moving government over to private email,” said Mr. Horner in an interview with the Washington Times. “In the book, I reveal private servers the White House had universities and pressure groups set up so they can conduct discussions
Needless to say, if this is true it is a violation of federal law and is also the antithesis of Barack Obama’s promise to run the most open, honest, and transparent administration in the history of the United States.
The Congress has asked Lisa Jackson to turn over all email correspondence from her alias “Richard Windsor” but I think we know what the Obama regime’s position will be judging by the fact we are still waiting to see all the documents related to the Fast and Furious scandal.
And according to this article the EPA isn’t the only government agency using this trick to hide their activities from the public as the Department of Energy is also engaged in this type of activity.
Hmmmm…..Barack Obama failed get the Congress to pass Cap and Trade legislation and he famously quipped that “there was more than one way to skin a cat” when the legislation failed. Now two agencies which Barack Obama could use to skin that cat are engaged in possibly illegal activity which one could deduce is an attempt to pass Cap and Trade laws while doing an end around the Congress and the constitution.
When the news broke about General Petraeus we were informed he and his lover were using a trick employed by al Qaeda to hide email correspondence but now it appears as if he might have learned this trick through the Obama regime itself.

If this is what it means to be open and transparent, I would hate to see what being secretive looks like. These things just keep piling up.

If the stories (as we are told them) are true then the good General has to be naive to the nth degree (private communications in the ‘Land of The Free’? Yeah, right …).
As for ignoring an attack that was under way: it’s all been done before. I still don’t understand why not only was the USS Liberty left to fend for itself (which it did with exemplary distinction) (1967) but the reinforcements that were actually launched from the carrier group were recalled on the explicit over-riding command of Washington; and so the slaughter went on—in full knowledge. Was this an American thing, and so incomprehensible to outsiders—?

“Barack Obama’s promise to run the most open, honest, and transparent administration in the history of the United States” — isn’t this the same guy that was going to shut down Bush’s wars? And close Guantanamo?
The good thing about political promises is the ease with which they can be recycled; and with a straight face too …

I guess my comment is, “when are they NOT hiding something?” So, yes, they were probably hiding something. I am sick of this administration and to think we have 4 more years, or MORE if they can swing it, is unthinkable.

You are right, I would be much less busy if I just wrote about the times the Obama regime was actually on the level. Thinking about the next four years makes it seem way too long, we are going to have to take it one day at a time.

B, I think we just lump them into one group of “evil doers” and leave it at that. They are all of the same mindset and follow talking points and orders, so aren’t they all, “equal”?

At this point, Steve, we just have to make sure and post “the truth” when we find it and hope that others see Obama for what he is. I know there will be those that will NEVER see it, but I have to believe that there are those that are reasonable and open for the opposite viewpoint. If not, we are screwed.

I hope people wake up as well but it would have been nice if they had done so before the election. If they wake up now it may not do any good because it may already be too late to stop Obama.
