In Burma Barack Obama states he wishes he could impose his will on the Congress

November 19, 2012

In Burma today Barack Obama gave a gaffe laden speech which rivals Mitt Romney’s supposed gaffe filled European tour during the campaign and in this speech he said something that I found to be quite interesting:

Now, on other hand, as President, I cannot just impose my will on Congress — the Congress of the United States — even though sometimes I wish I could

This isn’t the first time Barack Obama has stated in public that he wishes he had more dictatorial powers; he said much the same thing when speaking to La Razza on July 25th of last year when he stated the following:

The idea of doing things on my own is very tempting, I promise you, not just on immigration reform. But that’s not how our system works. That’s not how our democracy functions

Then less than one year later Barack Obama did do things on his own when he implemented the DREAM Act through Executive Order bypassing the authority of the Congress. He found the temptation to great to ignore.

We also know that the EPA is working on passing Barack Obama’s radical Cap and Trade policy, going so far as to hide their intentions using fake email accounts, without the approval of the Congress. And we now the FCC is looking at implementing net neutrality without the approval of the Congress.

It makes you wonder what exactly Barack Obama had in mind when he made this statement today for we know he doesn’t give a damn about Congressional power or the checks and balances the Congress is supposed to provide…..

You nailed it. As the world burns, he picks a couple of third world countries to visit that he doesn’t even take the time to know their names. China? Japan? Not so much interest, not as adoring I guess. Recall he was going to go to Indonesia until the protests? Well, he put on an Indonesian shirt.. Guess that counts.

Yep, he is all about image and that is what this trip was all about, unfortunately for him he showed the world his ignorance today if anyone was paying attention.

Remember Steve…he said he would have more flexibility after the election. I wondered back then what he meant by this. Maybe we’ll soon find out. After congress has not held him accountable for any of his constitutional violations. So he is definitely afraid of them.

I remember that well John and I think we will find out what he meant sooner rather than later.

Obama CAN impose his will, Executive Orders… And I seriously look for them to come fast and furious, no pun intended..

I think the pun was intended! 🙂 I expect his second term to be run almost exclusively by EO.

Oh, there is no doubt our democratically elected tyrant would like be Comandante Obama like his idol Comandante Hugo Chavez. Some people have a heart bigger than all out doors. Obama has an ego bigger than all out doors.

He sure does have a big ego, that is for sure, and he doesn’t like it when he can’t get his way. He is like a spoiled child when it comes to getting what he wants, but he manage to do it by “taking liberties” with the rules.

We may be shocked to learn just how far Obama is willing to go to implement his will and his agenda on the American people.

Before the election I wrote that should he win Obama will come after our liberties and our constitution with a vengeance. He has not made a gaffe, he is testing the waters. It may be fair to say that congress has already shown its hand and will not act on any unconstitutional actions past, present or future. Now is the time for the left to make its move so get ready for the ride.

So true Peter, Obama has tested the waters and he sees no real need to worry about the reaction of the Congress because up until this point they haven’t fought back so he will keep pushing the boundaries to see how far he can take it.
