Obamacare: Bars and restaurants shifting full time employees into part time positions

July 15, 2013

There is a growing trend in the service industries which America’s Watchtower has covered in the past and that is the cutting of full time employees hours down to part time status in order to avoid the now delayed Obamacare penalties.

And now it looks like that trend will continue. It is even worse for the employees who are now making less money than before for not only will they be the ones paying the penalty for not buying a product they cannot afford but in the Federal Government’s infinite wisdom they redefined full time employees as those employees working 30+ hours for the purpose of Obamacare.

This means that people who were full time employees working 40+ hours are going to see their hours cut to under 30 hours and they will still face the prospect of paying the Obamacare fine even though they are losing over 10 hours per week in many cases.

Somebody needs to explain to this simpleton how the Affordable Care Act has made healthcare more affordable to these people who were not making much money in the first place for I feel I must just be too stupid to understand it.

At a weekend BBQ with among the attendees exactly one dozen 20+ers upset with the negative ramifications Obamamocare is visiting upon them confirmed they voted for and remain Obama supporters. With two master and five bachelor degrees among the 12 none could be convinced, not for a lack of credible argument on my part, Obama and his administration are to blame. Conversely some very powerful unions, all Obama supporters, are lashing out against Obama and his OC lies. This whole affair is rather schizophrenic and the final analysis hard to predict. A majority in this nation are plain stupid so the GOP better fasten its seatbelt.

It is frustrating, isn’t it? These people are getting hurt by his policy and they do not hold it against him, which means they probably will not hold it again the Democrats in 2014. I simply do not get it!

Isn’t it frustrating that the GOP could be doing a much better of making the case against ObamaCare than they are doing. They could also, if they had any charater, defund the damn montrosity.

The Republican’s simply have no idea how to get the message out there and it is going to cost them. I have a theory on why they are not going to defund Obamacare or do anything else about it: They want it to go into effect so they can run against it in 2014 and 2016 because they are more interested in using it as a political tool than they are in fixing it.

It took 13 long years for Americans to figure out the folly of the Prohibition Act of 1918, let’s hope this will not be the case with the “Unaffordable Care Act.!

The Rep are considering bills to amend the 30 hrs to 40 hrs. There are proposals in both the House and Senate. As Nancy said you have to adopt the bill to know what is in it. The law that keeps on giving!

I hadn’t heard that, but it is something that needs to be addressed because of the unintended(?) consequences.

Ironically, many of those folks voted for Obama-twice. This is his thank you.
