John McCain praises Barack Obama’s “Trayvon” race speech, claims we need to reconsider ‘stand your ground’ laws
Today John McCain’s lips were firmly attached to Barack Obama’s rear end when he went on record as agreeing with the president that America is still a racist country with a long road to haul before we right the wrongs of 150+ years ago.
Barack Obama used his first public comments on the Zimmerman verdict to throw gasoline on the fire by legitimizing the escalating riots when he could have used that opportunity to call for unity and calm across the nation. And today John McCain praised him for it by calling the speech “very impressive” and stating America still had a long way to go in regards to race relations because “old prejudices die hard.”
He claimed that America was too optimistic in believing the election of Barack Obama would solve America’s race problems, but he forgets that it was Barack Obama who purposely ran a reelection campaign designed to divide Americans by race, sex, class, and sexual orientation in the first place. Barack Obama could have unified the country but he chose to be a divider for political reasons and John McCain has fallen into his trap.
As bad as this is it gets even worse because John McCain also agreed with Barack Obama when he stated that the Zimmerman case showed us that it was time to take another look at ‘stand your ground’ laws. What people like Eric Holder, Barack Obama, and John McCain purposely ignore is the fact that Florida’s ‘stand your ground’ law was not on trial and was never argued by Zimmerman’s defense, he claimed self-defense and he won on that issue alone.
When Kathleen Sebelius denied 10 Year Old Sarah Murnaghan the chance at a life saving operation she declared that someone had to live and someone had to die, and when you think about it that is the case here as well. Somebody was going to die that night–either the attacker or the attacked–so why is it that so many people would rather see a victim die rather than give that person the legal right to defend him or her self?
The answer is obvious to me; the ruling class, elitist, establishment ruling class in Washington want a populous which is dependent on the government for not only their sustenance but also for their defense and they see a people who can provide for and defend themselves as a threat to their power.
So the next time you head to the polls and determine you are going to hold your nose and vote for the lesser of two evils please remember that the lesser of two evils is still evil. If you are not willing to admit this than you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

When I heard this on Fox this morning is was as shocking as the sun rising in the east. This one armed wind bag needs to walk outside Joe Biden’s house and try to avoid the buckshot coming at him when he is mistaken for an intruder and wait for the Obama posse to riot for no justice no peace. This self righteous piece of shit embodies all that is wrong with the self immolating Republican Party.

And I am sure he will agree with McCain, perhaps that is why he hasn’t said anything yet. He knows he is in real trouble with the base right now and doesn’t want to speak up.

Rubio is a Cuban American and there is no love lost between them and blacks. Upper class Cubans like Rubios parents are considered white and do not mix with blacks. So this is why Rubio is not saying anything.

You are absolutely right. I heard that Sarah Palin was thinking about leaving the Republican Party. Can’t say I blame her. I admired McCain’s war service. That was my war too. I guess I must have been temporarily blinded when I voted for him.
We do need to find a viable alternative.

Just because he has a “R” in back of his name, does not make him a Republican. Heck, most of the Republicans are NOT Republicans, we know that and they know we know that. The problem is, most people will still go to the ballot box and vote straight ticket, they have been doing it for years. There are some Democrats that are more Republican that McCain is. Figure that one out! As for the “stand your ground” rule, it should, well, STAND. I will take my chances with a court if and when I have to do it and get questioned about it. I know, I know, the court is not always fair either, but we have to have faith in something now days and we are running out of things and people to trust, if any are left.

No they are not, in fact I would say the term RINO is outdated because the RINO’s are actually the mainstream Republicans at this point. Today’s RINOs are Paul, Cruz, and Lee because they are the only ones who seem to be at odds with what the establishment is doing.

SO YOU THINK THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS CONSERVATIVE? HAH! REP/DEM = TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN. THE BATTLE GROUND IS NOT LEFT/RIGHT, IT IS VERTICAL! THE FORCES OF EVIL (SATAN) AGAINST THE FORCES OF GOOD (GOD). UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND THIS YOU WILL CONTINUE TO BE A VICTIM OF THE MSM, THE SPIN DOCTORS, AND ANY OTHER LIAR THAT COMES YOUR WAY. GET YOUR HEAD IN THE REAL GAME.

I agree we need a new party that shed’s all the sins (and sinners) of the present Republican Party. I had thought the Republicans had done pretty good on segregation and all that bad stuff back in the 1950s only to have blacks move en masse to the Democrats (I am old enough to remember “Whites Only” signs in the railroad station above a water fountain). Was reading the other day, and don’t know why it hadn’t occurred to me sooner, how the Republican Party back in the 19th century after the Civil War had a big part in the genocide of the indians in the West, mostly it seems to help their business friends, e.g., the Pacific Union Railroad.
That translates into today where it seems that too often Republicans are tied to helping corporations and vested interests (just as the Democrats are, except they largely escape blame for it). At one time I thought the Libertarians could be a viable alternative. Rand Paul seems to say some good things from time to time, but I have a hard time seeing him personally beating the establishment.
The New Federalist Party was mentioned. I didn’t see the link to that. Have not heard of it before. Whatever we do need someway to throw out all the long serving politicians. Term limits seem to be the obvious answer, but don’t see how we get that to happen short of the states themselves forcing it (the second, and never done alternative to amending the Constitution).
It is extraordinarily frustrating to be lied about by one’s enemies (Democrats) and to be lied to by one’s supposed friends (Republicans).

I should have provided the links to the New Federalist Party, I apologize. The party is in its infancy which is why you have not heard of it yet. I am a founding member of the party and we are working hard to make this a reality. We do support term limits.
