John McCain and Lindsey Graham meet with Barack Obama, support regime change in Syria

  As the Congress prepares to debate Barack Obama’s use of force in Syria the president  is looking to gain allies in the Congress and naturally those allies would include John McCain and Lindsey Graham. 

  Because of this the newly minted war monger, Barack Obama, held a private meeting with the two old school war mongers and, predictably, as it turns out John McCain and Lindsey Graham only oppose the president because they do not feel his policy goes far enough. They do not oppose taking action on Syria, they just want him to take it to the next level–they want regime change in Syria.

McCain and Graham want Obama to go much further, however. In a statement released Saturday they said, “[W]e cannot in good conscience support isolated military strikes in Syria that are not part of an overall strategy that can change the momentum on the battlefield, achieve the President’s stated goal of Assad’s removal from power, and bring an end to this conflict, which is a growing threat to our national security interests.”

  So these two want a full blown war in Syria resulting in the removal of Bashar Assad from power and therefore they do not “in good conscience” support a limited military action. To what end do Graham and McCain support the removal of Assad and how many American lives must be lost to achieve this goal? And once Bashar Assad is removed from power how much safer will the American people be, and for whatever minimal, if any, safety we might have gained will it have been worth the blood spilled?

  Neither of these two seem to be asking the most logical question: who will replace Bashar Assad once he is gone considering the rebels are al-Qaeda. More on that later…..

   In the statement these two entrenched elitist ruling class politicians released they state that there is a growing threat to our national security interests but they do not state what those interests are. And for the life of me I cannot figure out what they are, so it would have been nice if they could have enlightened me.

  Barack Obama also supported regime change in Egypt and Libya and what did we get in return for the ouster of Hosni Mubarek and Muammar Gaddafi? We got the Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda in their place and someone needs to explain to me how this was beneficial to our national security as these countries still remain in flames. In the latter case the rise of al-Qaeda led directly to the attack in Benghazi which left Chris Stevens, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith, and Tyrone Woods dead.

  And if all this wasn’t bad enough we now know that the al-Qaeda group responsible for carrying out the attack in Benghazi is now training the Syrian rebels we are about to support if Barack Obama, John Kerry, John McCain, and Lindsey Graham have their way. You read that right, we are about to support a group trained by the very people that attacked our consulate almost one year ago. (Isn’t it interesting that the United States did not respond militarily to this act of war when four Americans were killed, but is willing to do so in this case with no perceivable American interests at stake?)

  I am just a small time blogger who researches and writes in my spare time and I was able to learn all these facts, it is incomprehensible that people such as John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Barack Obama, and John Kerry, with all the intelligence available to them, do not know what is going on here, so we are left to ask; what is the real endgame here?
