Mexico calls for an investigation into the NSA spying scandal

September 4, 2013

While we have all been debating Barack Obama’s commitment to supporting al-Qaeda in Syria, and rightfully so, the NSA and IRS scandals have (conveniently) fallen by the wayside. Of course the Benghazi and Fast and Furious scandals have long been forgotten, replaced by the NSA and IRS scandals, does anyone see a pattern here? But I digress…..

While we were distracted by Syria, and Barack Obama’s red line, we learned last week that the NSA spying program also included the targeting of certain world leaders, including those of Brazil and Mexico. Of course this gained no traction in the mainstream media as the focus remained on the contrived crisis in Syria.

It goes without saying that this news is not sitting well with the leaders of Mexico and Brazil: As America’s Watchtower wrote about earlier today, Brazil is now considering the option of snubbing the Obama regime by boycotting a scheduled state dinner in WashingtonAnd now Mexico is calling for an investigation into what they believe is criminal activity:

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto says reported surveillance by the U.S. National Security Agency would constitute an illegal act.

Pena Nieto demanded the United States investigate the allegations aired in a report Sunday night on Brazil’s Globo TV.

Maybe we should give Barack Obama a break; perhaps he is spying on Mexico in an attempt to find out where the guns he sold to the Mexican drug lords ended up, but somehow I do not think that is the case.

Tell me again how Barack Obama is going to restore America’s standing in the world…..

Must have been rogue agents, I am sure Obama learned about this on CNN and had no idea it was going on.

I cannot argue with you there, we have our own NSA problems to deal with, but it does show that Obama is causing us to lose more credibility in the world.

“Why Do John Kerry and John McCain Believe that Syria’s Rebels Are Mostly Moderate”? A post at PJ tattler. .. the same factoids I was putting together. This gal
O’Bagy has been all over the Fox News Channel and CNN this week, out of nowhere, to tell America that Syria’s rebels are mostly moderate.I was starting to wonder about her and was checking it out and this post backs up where you are headed. The kicker is she is an anti-Semitic. Check it out, it is starting to come together.
