Park ranger claims they were told to make the shutdown as painful as possible on the American people

October 4, 2013

Many of us have been of the belief that the Democrats’ plan during the shutdown was to make it as painful as possible on the American people in order to turn people against the Republicans in the House.

Now a Washington park ranger has confirmed this opinion, here is what he had to say:

“We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can. It’s disgusting.”

I admit that this is an unnamed source and we do not know how reputable this man is, but all it takes is one look at what is going on to realize this is the truth. What was that adage the Democrats used to use in these situations? Oh yeah, it is the seriousness of the charge and not the validity of the claim.

This regime has barricaded memorials which are historically kept open during government shutdowns in order to hurt WWII veterans, there are armed guards stationed at some locations in order to harass people looking to visit the sites, and most recently we have learned that priests have been threatened with arrest if they try to minister to active duty military personnel during the shutdown. (There is no word as of yet as to whether or not the same threat has been made to Muslim clerics.)

During the NSA and IRS scandals I wrote a couple of times that America was in a soft police state and I asked how long it would be before America slid into a hard police state, and we may be seeing that happen right before out very eyes.

Oh, and by the way, if you are a scared, delusional unarmed single black mother with a one year old child in your car the police will simply shoot you down like a dog and ask questions later for the ruling class must be protected at all costs. And you cannot even count on race hustlers like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to come to your defense.

Names would be necessary for a court to prosecute for giving an unlawful order.
Name of person that made the statement, and the name of the person the deponent received the unlawful order from.

Yeah, nothing is going to happen if this man remains unnamed and I almost didn’t run with this post because of it. But then I remembered that the Benghazi whistleblowers were attacked for not being named until they came out and we learned it was legitimate, so I decided to go with it with the disclaimer.

I posted one just to keep people up to speed, and commented on several sites about it. An unlawful order, is a big deal with the courts. It would have been real sweet, and might have had another canary to sing along side of Lois Lerner, and begging for immunity from prosecution.
When I hear about “unnamed sources”, I am always skeptical.

I hear you there, you never know if an unnamed source is reputable or not, I hope he comes forward eventually but I wouldn’t count on it simply because of the fear factor.

Like you, I think this is something that needs to be written about for even if this man is not legit I believe this is exactly what Obama is up to.

There is a group of people who are going to gather at the Lexington and Concord battlefields, which have been shut down, and recreate the taking of the North bridge on Sunday. It will be interesting to see what happens and if they meet real resistance from the authorities.

Tell y’all what! My husband is a combat Vietnam Veteran. He just got word that the Vietnam Wall is closed and off limits in D.C. There’s lots of these Vietnam folks still living and the hubby wants America to pull together for a rally. Like he said, “we’re not yet old enough for cops to push us around.” There’s also The Patriot Guard motorcycle group as well. Maybe we can start getting people roused up here on this blog!

I don’t think you misspoke, I had heard the other day that the Vietnam Wall was closed down. Maybe it hasn’t been, but I did hear it was. I hope your husband is able to start a rally and I know the Vietnam vets will certainly attend it if they can!

My email is over there on the right. I had to spell it out to avoid the spambots which troll the internet looking for email addresses. Just change the word at with @ and the word dot with . and you should be able to email me.

I think he might have overplayed his hand for once and when you see the measures he has gone to in order to deny the WWII vets seeing their monument you have to feel as if he has finally showed all of America just how evil he really is.

Ya know what? I live on The Gulf of Mexico in Florida. Half of that area is National Seashore. People are parking in droves on the grass along Hwy 98 and walking through a bit of large pine trees to go and enjoy a swim. It’s still nice and warm down here, and so is the water. People will get in wherever they want to. There’s always “the back end way” that no one’s looking out for. Go Party!!!!!!! Find YOUR shortcut.

Pretty much sums it up… “disgusting.”

The levels to which Obama and his ilk will stoop is amazing. I mean, just let the shutdown happen why make it worse? It takes any sympathy someone might have and throws it away.

    Completely idiotic.

(Reuters) – American tourists visiting a D-Day cemetery in Normandy, northern France, expressed anger upon discovering that the white-cross memorial they had travelled thousands of miles to see was closed due to a U.S. government shutdown.

The list of places closed is emense. The idiots have even tried to close Biscayne Bay in Miami from fishermen because it is National Park

Just before the weekend, the US National Park Service informed charter boat captains in Florida that the Florida Bay was “closed” due to the shutdown. Until government funding is restored, the fishing boats are prohibited from taking anglers into 1,100 square-miles of open ocean. Fishing is also prohibited at Biscayne National Park during the shutdown.

Sickening, as you said, they even shut the ocean down. There is no doubt in my mind Obama is trying to make this hurt and it is quite vindictive!
