The NSA disputes Barack Obama’s claim that he didn’t know the agency was spying on world leaders

October 29, 2013

Yesterday the Obama regime struck a familiar note while in the midst of a scandal: Much like with the IRS targeting scandal and the Fast and Furious gunrunning scandal the White House claimed that Barack Obama had no idea the NSA was spying on foreign leaders until he learned about it on the news at night.

It was ludicrous to believe that the Defense Department was running guns into Mexico without the president’s knowledge, it was ludicrous to believe the IRS was targeting political opponents unbeknownst to the president, and it is equally ludicrous to believe the NSA was acting on their own when the program was put into place to spy on friendly world leaders. None of this happens by rogue agents in the field, the order for programs of this magnitude has to come down from on high.

And yesterday an angry NSA struck back at the president, claiming that he knew what the corrupt agency was up to:

The White House and State Department signed off on surveillance targeting phone conversations of friendly foreign leaders, current and former U.S. intelligence officials said Monday, pushing back against assertions that President Obama and his aides were unaware of the high-level eavesdropping.

Professional staff members at the National Security Agency and other U.S. intelligence agencies are angry, these officials say, believing the president has cast them adrift as he tries to distance himself from the disclosures by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden that have strained ties with close allies.

So who do you believe? I know where I would place my money if I were betting on this…..

I believe Obama. No way he could give these orders from a golf course.

LOL, good point, I hadn’t thought of that. After all, Clinton couldn’t give the order to kill bin Laden from the golf course so how can we expect Obama to give orders from the golf course?
