Obamacare paperwork designed to make people think they are making more progress signing up for healthcare than they really are

November 5, 2013

Barack Obama has a penchant for misleading (I prefer lying to) the American people. He mislead the American people when he said we could keep our healthcare plans if we liked them, and now that people are finding out he mislead them on this issue he is trying to mislead them about his promise people could keep their insurance.

With frustration growing among the people who are trying to use the healthcare exchange website and their inability to sign up for coverage Barack Obama is purposely misleading the American people once again.

During a recent speech he gave about the website glitches he told the American people they have other options available to them to purchase healthcare; he told us we could call a 1-800 number and he told us we could fill out a paper application.

It turned out the 1-800 option was misleading because you still have to use the website to finalize the process and now was are learning that the paper option is nothing but a ruse to make people feel as if they are making more progress in enrolling for Obamacare than they really are.

The documents, turned over to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, paint a picture of an Administration intentionally misleading health insurance consumers as a dilatory tactic designed to keep citizens from giving up hope.

“Navigators are seeing people very frustrated and walking away, so they are turning to paper applications to protect their reputations as people in the communities who can help, even though paper applications will not have a quicker result necessarily,” said notes from an Oct. 15 meeting.

“The paper applications allow people to feel like they are moving forward in the process and provides another option; at the end of the day, we are all stuck in the same queue,” state the Obama Administration notes.

Once people fill out the paper application they naturally feel as if they have made progress and are getting somewhere in their battle to sign up for the mandatory coverage, but what they do not realize is that after the application is filled out they really are no better off–or further along–than they were before  they filled out the application. And as we can see by the notes provided to the Oversight Committee, that is the true intent of telling people to use the paper applications.

Does anybody still believe anything that comes from this man’s mouth?

I wonder what his children think of him lying all of the time?

His kids think the same thing the main stream media, MSNBC, Harry Reed, Nancy Pelosi, all the America’s universities, and all the rest of the leftest in this country think: the ends justify the means when your “fundamentally transforming” America.

I was going to say they have been taught that the end justifies the means so Daddy was just doing what he had to do, but I see Bruce beat me to it!

What I heard today is he isn’t lying, he’s “compressing” the truth.

I’m a bit confused as to whether you are upset that people can not get healthcare, or you are upset that Obama is trying to fix an issue imperfectly. Either way I would say calling him a liar is harsh.

What do you call it when a person says something they KNOW is not true over and over and over again?

I could catch politicians in lies all day long, if I wanted to.

The real question is whether more people will be able to afford coverage or not.

No, that is not the real question. The real question is why do we accept lies from our elected officials? Lies from an elected official – violating the trust of the public – is a high crime and misdemeanor. Those we put into office MUST be held to a higher standard because of the power they have over our lives. A country cannot be effectively governed when the People don’t trust those who govern them. The result is the situation our Country is in now.

When those elected to make the laws, enforce the laws, and mete out justice (courts) regularly break the laws – deem themselves above the law – a country is doomed. Does no one pay attention to history? This has happened over and over again, yet we just keep repeating the same cycle. A fatal flaw of humans, they just don’t think something like that will happen to them. When enough people finally realize it CAN happen to them, IS happening to them, it’s too late to fix it. Those left to pick up the pieces of a failed society and try to rebuild it, vow to not let it happen again. Of course it DOES happen again, every generation believes they will not make the same mistakes of the previous generation. However, the more time that passes, the more that people forget what caused the problems- forget that THEY were going to do better – and the cycle repeats.

With 4.5 million people losing their coverage and being forced into more expensive plans I would say the answer is no.

I read through your post and it seems like you are angry. Politicians are all liars, if you hold them to such standards, the real question is–does Obamacare make healthcare in the country better or worse.

When it comes to my personal and private live I am a very happy person, I have the greatest family a man could ask for and a job that treats me well, but in my public life and in politics, yes, I am angry for I care about more than myself. If you read through all my posts you will see that I am angry with both sides for what they are doing to us. Yes, all politicians lie but that does not mean we have to accept it. That is why I am working with several others to create the New Federalist Party, we do not have to accept the status quo and those that do are part of the problem.

It has ben said that some people will lie when the truth will do. In this case if he hadn’t lied before the 2012election this lying sack of shit would not be the liar in chief; merely another pathological lair without portfolio. In saner times he would be getting conjugal visits from Moosh. Instead the rampant disregard for enforcing the law and the cowardice of the congress allows him to be free to f__k the rest of us. How now brown cow? Same way black bull…

Telling it like it is, as always Peter! If it upsets someone, oh well! Maybe there needs to be a few more upset people, maybe they would open their closed minds and actually hear what is being said, not just hear what their “people” want them to hear. I am sick of trying to placate someone and not speak my mind…am I not entitled to MY freedom of speech as much as the next guy? That is the problem with most the Republicans in office right now. They are afraid of offending someone, well, get over it, we are circling the drain fast and we need some help from INSIDE!

Just like the onion with it’s many stinky layers, we will NEVER be able to peel back enough to see what is really at the core. “…I am the great OZ”. Don’t look behind the curtain.
