The EPA is preparing to release hundreds of new environmental regulations
Last week America’s Watchtower covered the story about how energy prices have skyrocketed under Barack Obama. This is the one promise Barack Obama has actually kept, but according to this story the EPA is prepared to announce hundreds of new environmental regulations. You ain’t seen nothing yet…..
Federal agencies are currently working on rolling out hundreds of environmental regulations, including major regulations that would limit emissions from power plants and expand the agency’s authority to bodies of water on private property.
On Tuesday, the White House released its regulatory agenda for the fall of 2013. It lists hundreds of pending energy and environmental regulations being crafting by executive branch agencies, including 134 regulations from the Environmental Protection Agency alone.
The EPA is currently crafting 134 major and minor regulations, according to the White House’s regulatory agenda. Seventy-six of the EPA’s pending regulations originate from the agency’s air and radiation office, including carbon-dioxide-emission limits on power plants.
76 of these new regulations will deal with carbon emissions, in other words cap and trade–a policy Barack Obama is now going to implement through dictate after failing to get the Congress on board with his radical agenda. This is what Barack Obama was talking about when he said there was more than one way to skin a cat:
The EPA is set to set emissions limits that would effectively ban the construction of new coal-fired power plants unless they use carbon capture and sequestration technology. Next year, the agency will move to limit emissions from existing power plants — which could put more older coal plants out of commission.
The additional costs of opening new coal powered plants, coupled with the forced closure of existing coal powered plants, will necessarily cause energy prices to skyrocket–just as Barack Obama promised:
But as bad as this news is, it gets much, much worse for the EPA is also prepared to expand its power under the Clean Water Act by redefining what an American waterway is to include basically every body of water, including those on private property:
The EPA is also working on a rule that would expand the definition of “waters of the U.S.” under the Clean Water Act to include water on private property.
“The EPA’s draft water rule is a massive power grab of private property across the U.S. This could be the largest expansion of EPA regulatory authority ever,” Texas Republican Rep. Lamar Smith. “If the draft rule is approved, it would allow the EPA to regulate virtually every body of water in the United States, including private and public lakes, ponds and streams”
The walls are closing in on us. As anyone who has read John Locke or many of the founding fathers knows, the right to private property was considered to be the key to ultimate freedom and liberty. If a person cannot own property free from government intrusion he or she really has no rights whatsoever, no matter how free they may consider themselves to be, and that is why the Obama regime feels it is so important to expand the Clean Water Act.
This will be the ultimate intrusion on property rights for it will render us nothing but serfs living in indentured servitude on rented property basically owned by the government and subjected to its whims and urges. Rest assured: If you do not comply you will be sued by the Federal Government and you will lose your property, does that sound like freedom to you?

This makes me sick. Now the d.c. Court will rubber stamp all of it. Then we have the IRS over stepping themselves over 501cs. Going to rule what congress is suppose to legislate.

I am with you there, it really is sickening to see all this play out and be so helpless to do anything about it.

More evidence that the enemy is in charge. How to rid them is what we need to know and do.

They sure are the enemy, there is no two ways about that. they do not have our best interests at heart, all they are interested in is expanding their power over us.

This government needs to be shut down, an impossibility without a wholesale rebellion by the populace.

If people would rally like they do on ‘Black Friday’ that could happen in a day.
