One-third of “successful” Obamacare enrollees still face problems

December 3, 2013

This is going to be difficult, but let us pretend for a moment that you are one of the handful of people who were able to successfully enroll in Obamacare using the dysfunctional healthcare website. Naturally you would think that you were out of the woods because you would be in compliance with the law, but you would be wrong.

It turns out, according to this story, that 1/3 those who have “successfully” enrolled in Obamacare still face an uphill battle for many problems still exist once you are “enrolled.”

Up to one-third of HealthCare.gov customers enrollment records have been affected by the Obama administration’s blunders in setting up the federal exchange, according to the Washington Post.

The flagship federal exchange’s poor setup has failed to allow many consumers to access the website and input their information; but once the federal government has the data another set of errors rolls in.

Insurance companies get patient applications through forms called 834s, but the Obama administration has been hard put to get the forms to insurance companies in a manner they can read.

Customers have been inexplicably left off the list of new patients sent to each insurance company each night, keeping even the few who have managed to get through HealthCare.gov and purchased insurance from actual enrollment in a plan.

The problem was discovered when five major insurers began working with CMS and trading customer lists in October.

“When plans have checked this, they realize there is a good number there is no record of,” an insurance industry official told the Washington Post.

So, in addition to there being no payment mechanism set up on the Obamacare website, it turns out that the insurance companies are not receiving accurate data of new enrollees from the Obama regime.

Naturally, the Obama regime is denying this report, but then again, Barack Obama ran around the country denying he ever said that if you liked your insurance you could keep it, so who do you believe? But do not worry, the website is fixed…..

I am so happy the website is working. Where do I sign up? 😦

Sorry for the sarcasm, Steve. I am just sick to death of hearing Obama and company lie about their health care plan when it is obvious to anyone with a modicum of common sense that it has been a disaster from day one.

I hear you there Larry, I am so tired of listening to this man’s lies over and over again. The good news is that now a majority of Americans know he is a liar.

That’s great news for the Obama team. With a mere 2/3 rds of those having the pelotas to give up their personal info to whom knows who left scratching their heads is success in bizarrobama’s new world order of math and stuff. By this measure any democrat getting one third of the votes in the upcoming elections shall be declared the winner; no?
