‘Twas the Night Before Christmas; A Soldier’s Poem
December 24, 2013
In keeping with an America’s Watchtower Christmas tradition I give to you ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas; A Soldier’s Poem.
Please remember our heroes who are so far away from their families and their friends as Christmas approaches; it is because of them that we are free to celebrate with our families and our friends. I long for the day when they are all home safely and can enjoy the freedom for which they fought, that day cannot come soon enough.

That puts a different perspective on tonight and how others will be “celebrating”, doesn’t it? Guess some take it for granted, our freedoms, maybe this will open their eyes. As they say “Freedom is not free”.
Merry Christmas to all my friends on the blog, enjoy your families and stay safe this Christmas season.

Well said Lou, we must remember the reason why we are allowed to freely celebrate Christmas, without those who sacrifice so much we would not be free to do so. Merry Christmas.

Over 2000 years ago a son was conceived in the womb of a young girl. We celebrate this time of year as his birth but the real miracle was his conception – the birth was a nature birth, just that the babe was placed in a manger. The life conceived in Mary is the same ‘Saving Life’ that can be ‘conceived’ in our inner spirit being today – from death unto life. “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. ” John 3:17 Today brave men and women are still following suit in the natural, of what Christ preformed in the spiritual – eternal realm – for ‘whosoever’ will believe, in Him. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13
When things were the darkness (this time of year) God’s Light came: “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:6 (For all to come to salvation and knowledge of the truth!) Thanks Steve “Merry Christmas to you and yours!”
