Open thread: Wishing everyone a New Year which is happy, happy, happy
Well, today is the day before New Years day and I would like to take this opportunity to wish my dear readers a New Year that is, to quote Phil Robertson, “happy, happy, happy.” Thank you all for your support over the years and may the next year be a blessed one for all of you and your families.
When the clock strikes midnight tonight it will officially be an election year and that means it is time to begin to end of the supremacy of the ruling class elite. So to kick off the New Year I give you the song ‘Supremacy’ by Muse.

New Years is all about hope for better times to come, and this year we have the POSSIBILITY of better times i.e. November elections.
The recent well debated thread of Christy vs Clinton showed me a fatal flaw with our side. We agree on the problems, we know we can’t continue like this, we see the disaster “fundamental transformation” has caused, but when it comes to how we actually vote, we don’t have a winning strategy. I hope we get one by November.

Thanks for the compliment, you guys keep me going! The Republicans have a problem this year, it seems they believe they need to move to the left in order to win while the base feels they should move back toward the right. Will they be able to narrow this void and get their act together? If they help pass amnesty I think even the base, which they feel will support them no matter what, will abandon them.
