Obama pollster says the media should stop covering Barack Obama’s falling poll numbers

January 1, 2014

Isn’t it interesting now that Barack Obama’s poll numbers are tanking after he was caught lying to the American people about their ability to keep their healthcare plans if they like them that suddenly at least one Obama pollster, Joel Benenson, is calling for the media to ignore the polls?

Asked his New Year’s resolution: “Here’s one — with a variation, if mine is too extreme: Go one year without reporting any public polling data.”

“Rationale: Most public polling continues to be reported on strictly from a topline, horserace-type perspective that does nothing, or at best very little, to illuminate the news of the day.”

Benenson offered an alternative if “this is too strict.”

“Go one year without reporting any public polling data that doesn’t provide in an in-depth analysis of the underlying dynamics that are truly shaping the data,” he said.

All the great propagandists from years past knew one immutable fact: If you control the message you control the masses, and that is all this is about. You can rest assured that if Obamacare were soaring in the polls his opinion would be much different.

That advice seems to buck the president who has been touting polls which supposedly tell us that support for amnesty is high and is growing every day, no word on whether Mister Benenson believes we should ignore these polls or not.

Maybe now with this wink and a nod from an Obama apparatchik the Goebbles arm of the democrat party, the media, will suspend all polling until after the upcoming November elections .

Why not nationalize Gallup and make it the offical polling source and bankrupt (outlaw) all other polling companies! The government currently controls and manipulates all economic data. Why not add public opinion to this ? Oh by the way there is no need to have elections in 2014 and 2016 we will tell you who the winners are.

Yeah, might as well make the polling comparable to a banana republic, after all, that is where we are headed anyways.

For the most part I pay little attention to the polls, although they do provide a topic for conversation. It has always seems to me, that depending on how the questions are asked you can always get the desired results. Sure they would like the polls to go silent when they are running against them; just as they tout them when the results are to their liking. I would suspect the Obama administration is keenly aware of the polls, but I fear they over look them when they go against their core values—-that is if they really have any. That said, I’ve very suspecious of most polls and feel they are usually weighted to reflect the progressive perspective.
