Allen West questions whether John Boehner is helping to cover-up Benghazi

 Allen West has sent a letter to John Boehner questioning whether he and Eric Cantor are possibly assisting in the cover-up of what happened in Benghazi.

  Here is part of what he wrote:

“There is widespread support for a select committee to get to the bottom of disturbing questions surrounding the attack, as H.Res. 36 has 178 cosponsors,” West said in an email to Breitbart News. “Yet Speaker of the House John Boehner and Majority Leader Eric Cantor refuse to bring it to the House floor for a vote. You have to wonder, is there something they know that they prefer not come to light?”

The letter delivered to Boehner on Monday similarly questioned whether Boehner is helping President Barack Obama’s administration cover up the Benghazi scandal. Specifically, because Boehner is a member of the “Super 8”—congressional leaders who are briefed on national security matters—the coalition wondered if he knew something that a full investigation into Benghazi would reveal.

“Some analysts believe your inaction and passivity towards getting to the truth concerning Benghazi is because you were briefed on the intelligence and special operations activities in Libya as a member of the ‘Super 8,’” the group wrote. “You may possess ‘guilty knowledge.’ We recall how then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi developed a form of ‘amnesia’ concerning a documented briefing she received on so-called ‘enhanced interrogation techniques’ – later termed ‘torture’ for political purposes.”

  This is something that I have believed for quite awhile now, in fact I wrote about that very possibility back on August 6th of last year in this post. Here are two paragraphs from that article:

 John Boehner is nothing but an elitist, ruling class Republican who cares more about retaining power than he cares about doing what is right by the American people and he actually has a history of stonewalling investigations into the Obama regime’s scandals, he did the same with Fast and Furious, so this is not surprising to me in the least.

  John Boehner is part of the problem in Washington: Washington is infested with power hungry politicians who put personal gain and personal politics before anything else and if it is true that he knew the United States was illegally running guns into Syria he needs to be held accountable along with Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

  I firmly believe that John Boehner worked to slow down Darrell Issa’s investigation into Fast and Furious until Barack Obama asserted Executive Privilege and sealed the incriminating documents for he had to protect himself, and I also firmly believe that John Boehner knows a hell of allot more about Benghazi than he would like the voters to know about.

  This man has been corrupted with power and he will do whatever it takes to hold on to it, he simply does not give a damn about justice for the families of Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, or Glen Doherty because he knows the truth and he wants to keep it hidden. The question is why and the answer is self-evident.
