Democrats are beginning to run from Obamacare in new campaign ads
Last month New Hampshire Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen was hit with a blistering new ad, which will eventually be customized in the various states which harbor Obamacare supporting Democrats, for her unwavering support of Obamacare and her repeating of Barack Obama’s if you like your plan you can keep it lie. The best line in this ad was the last line: If you like your Senator you can keep her, if you don’t you know what to do.
Now some Democrats are looking to counter this attack by expressing their sudden opposition to Obamacare; a Democratic Super Pac is now running an ad hoping to help Arizona Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick, and we can assume that some versions of this ad will also appear to help aid other vulnerable Obamacare supporting Democrats:
A new ad from a Demcratic super PAC indicates that, despite the claims of Democratic National Commitee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and others, at least some Democrats are wary of embracing Obamacare in upcoming midterm elections.
In the TV spot, the Democratic political action committee House Majority PAC highlights Arizona congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick’s criticism of the bungled HealthCare.gov website. Kirkpatrick is a vulnerable Democrat running for reelection in November.
The ad opens by praising her for blowing the whistle on the “disastrous healthcare website.” In Congress, Kirkpatrick has taken steps to distance herself from the embattled health-care law. In November, for example, she was one of 39 Democrats to support Fred Upton’s bill, which would have allowed individuals renew their health-care plans after the law’s regulations required insurance companies to cancel them.
Apparently, to paraphrase John Kerry, she was for Obamacare before she was against it. The Democrats are hoping that the voters have short memories but who could possibly forget that Nancy Pelosi stated the bill had to be passed before we could find out what was in it? Perhaps if Congresswoman Kilpatrick had read the bill before she voted for it she would be in the bind she now finds herself in.
Much has been made in the mainstream media, and rightfully so, about the civil war currently being waged within the GOP but anyone who thinks the Democrats will not also be facing a civil war over Obamacare is simply fooling themselves.
The burgeoning Democratic civil war may be going mostly unreported by the propaganda arm of the Democratic party, otherwise known as the mainstream media, but it is happening nonetheless. The mainstream media may be trying their best to comply with Barack Obama’s wish that the 2014 election be about immigration reform, income inequality, and minimum wage but rest assured Obamacare will be the defining issue in the upcoming election whether the media and the Democrats like it or not. They foisted this upon us without a single Republican vote and now they must live with the consequences.
They can run but they cannot hide for we know who they are…..

Again, my pragmatic pessimism will not allow me the luxury of believing that any light at the end of the tunnel is anything more than an oncoming train. The democrat machine is a well oiled one ready to unleash whatever it takes to destroy the jalopy known as the Republican Party. Not only will the MSM do its part but the electorate ,responsible for keeping them in power regardless of their incrementle dissembling of this once great country, will continue to do what it does best, vote for anything with a D next to it. Content of character plays no part in this process; look whose in the White House. Hopefully I’m proven wrong this November.

I hope so too but unfortunately many of the voters have been bought and paid for so the best we can hope for is for them to stay home. But once the Democrats scare them into thinking they are going to lose their freebies they will head to the polls and pull the lever for the Democrats.

Greed is a powerful persuader, Steve! They want what is coming to them and if they have to get off the damn couch to make a one time trip to the polls for that, then they will. I have said before, there are still people working and earning less than the “stay at homes” make, at what point will they finally say enough is enough and fall into lock step with the “takers”? I mean, can you blame them? Work an honest days work, pay taxes (for the takers to suck dry) and still not come out ahead. At some point the draw to that life might just sound inviting. There are how many millions that have given up on trying to find a job, at least they tried, more than you can say for the generational suckers.
As for the Democrats in fighting, might be happening, who knows, the media would not tell us if they were. I would be willing to bet, however, there are a lot that are sweating re-election at the moment because of this Administration. Not all the Democrats side with Obama and his Administration, but will they be able to do anything about it? I just do not know.

In fighting might not be the right word, looking out for themselves is more accurate. I think they still believe in Obamacare but they need to distance themselves from it, if they are reelected they will fall in line once again.
