NASA admits the pause in global warming continues

January 22, 2014

NASA released a new report which admits the pause in global warming continued through the year 2013:

“The trends over the last 10 to 15 years compared to the trends before do appear to be lower than they were,” Gavin Schmidt, climatologist with NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, told reporters.

“We’ve been looking at this in separate work and partially it seems to be a function of internal variability in the system, so the fact is that we’ve had more La Nina-like conditions over the last few years compared to earlier on in the 2000s or in the late 1990s,” Schmidt added.

According to NASA, 2013 was tied with 2009 and 2006 for the seventh warmest year on record. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) ranks 2013 as the fourth warmest year on record, tying with 2003.

“In summary they both show that the ‘pause’ in global surface temperature that began in 1997, according to some estimates, continues,” wrote David Whitehouse, who holds a doctorate in astrophysics and was the BBC’s science editor. “Statistically speaking there has been no trend in global temperatures over this period.”

“Given that the [Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change] estimates that the average decadal increase in global surface temperature is 0.2 [degrees Celsius], the world is now 0.3 [degrees Celsius] cooler than it should have been,” Whitehouse added.

So, if we have done nothing to curb global warming and global warming has paused anyway does not this mean that we did nothing to create global warming in the first place? Could it be a natural climate cycle of the earth, or is Barack Obama going to take credit for stopping the oceans from rising?

This is beyond, ‘if you say a lie long enough people will believe it as true’. This is more into the ‘crazy making’ psychology of redefining ‘reality’ of our social matrix. Those behind this ‘ruse’ don’t need the masses to believe the lie (they’ll do what they’re going to do anyway – raise taxes), but they ‘delight so’ in doing it this way: showing their control & power over ‘dumb-ed down and conditioned/conforming’ world citizens that they’re producing (once again the ‘god complex’).

That is an interesting thought. The people are going to get what they want anyway without the big lie, so why even use it if not as some type of experiment to see how much they can control our thoughts and behaniors.

We could be in the middle of the next Ice Age and they would still be blathering about global warming.

What is maddening is all the money that has been wasted. The money could have been used on environmental programs that work and people could have been employed. For example coastal areas affected by Supper Storm Sandy could have been acquired (fairly with just compensation) and the coastline restored.

Talk is of the Super Bowl here in NJ being rescheduled due to anticipated inclement weather not cooperating. If so this will be the first Super Bowl falling victim to Global Warming. By the way, how’s the ozone layer doin’?

Last question first, of course Obama will take credit for stopping the oceans from rising. He will also take credit for making the Sun come up in the morning, and the Moon in the night. He really is that powerful.
As Dennis Prager says, 3 questions must be asked, and without all 3, there is no issue. 1) is it getting warmer? 2) if it IS getting warmer is it MAN MADE warming? 3) Is the result of the temperature change harmful?
