MSNBC interrupts interview with Congresswoman on the NSA spying scandal for BREAKING Justin Bieber news

January 24, 2014

Many of us have been of the opinion for quite some time that the mainstream media is nothing more than the fourth branch of government–the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party, or better yet the Ministry of Propaganda. But in addition to toeing the Democratic Party line the mainstream media is good for something else and that is providing cover and distractions to take our focus off of the important issues and what the Federal government is doing to us. When the mainstream media is lustfully following a story you must look to see what they are ignoring because more often than not it appears there is something more important they should be covering.

So what does the mainstream media think is the biggest story of the week? Well, that would be the arrest of pop star Justin Bieber of course.

While the entire mainstream media is guilty of providing cover for the Democrats and propagandizing the news there is one outlet in particular which has lost all journalistic credibility and that is none other than MSNBC. But believe it or not they have taken it to a new level. Or should I say low?

Andrea Mitchell was conducting an interview with a former Congresswoman about the NSA spying scandal (the fact they were covering this at all is news in and of itself, but I digress) when suddenly they broke away with breaking news about Justin Bieber’s arrest, showing us once and for all where they true loyalties lie.

  This is priceless:

This is the problem with the 24 hour news cycle. We no longer have journalist instead we just have readers. Everything is reduced to sound bites. This is because the attention span of most Americans is nil. And Hollywood gossip is far more titillating and thus more important than the real world.

That’s right, we simply have pretty faces reading what is put in front of them and nobody is doing any real footwork. The fact that gossip is what many Americans are most interested in tells us all we need to know about the reason we are in this trouble in the first place.

That little jerk needs to spend a few nights in a jail cell with Bubba and straighten out! And the liberals of MSNBC and their ilk should be in there with him. I mean, let’s face it, their conduct is close to criminal too.

Who the hell is Justin Beiber? I guess I am more than a little out of touch with todays pop culture. Thank God!

All I can tell you about him is that he is a pop star many of the young girls like, I wouldn’t even know one of his songs if I heard it on the radio.

Come to think of it, I have never heard a song by J Lo or Katie Perry, but they must exist! Perhaps we just run around in WAY DIFFERENT music groups. I certainly hope so.

Can’t say I’ve heard anything by J Lo or Katie Perry either, in fact I wouldn’t be able to point them out in a lineup either.

I doubt The Bieb’s is your kind of music, Jim! You are not missing much, you either have to be a young girl or a metro-sexual to appreciate him. He is a spoiled brat that needs to be brought down a notch or two by having to pay the price for the stupid shit he has just pulled. If it was US, we would be busted, so why does someone like him rate any special treatment? I will tell you why, because that kind of news sells and he is “special”! Real journalism is lacking anymore. We seem to have “News” shows that are more entertainment than news that we WANT and NEED to hear…that is why we have these blogs, to get what we require.

The only sound bite as bad is that asinine Seattle football players rant. If I see it one more time!

It’s sad to see news go the way of fashion. Now what is reported is “trendy” and “flashy” as opposed to important and relevant. Ten years from now no one will care about what Justin did or didn’t do. It’s insulting that these networks regard us, the audience, to be so easily amused and entertained. That’s the problem, news no longer seeks to educate and inform but to ridicule and entertain.

You can gladly keep him detained in the States, we Canadians won’t be taking him back anytime soon.
