Under attack in New Hampshire Scott Brown moves closer to running for the Senate

March 3, 2014

I am not a supporter of Scott Brown and if he decides to run for the Senate in New Hampshire I will not vote for him, even in the general election. If my choices are Scott Brown and Jeanne Shaheen I will vote third party.

Having said that I find it interesting that the airwaves in New Hampshire are already being bombarded with attack ads trashing Scott Brown and supporting Jeanne Shaheen when he is not even officially a candidate at this point for it signals to me the Democrats and their special interest groups are afraid of this man.

These ads are meant to intimidate Scott Brown and persuade him not to run, but if that is the case it may actually have backfired:

“They keep running these negative ads and crushing my integrity and distorting my votes and the like — almost antagonizing me, challenging me to get in,” Brown told POLITICO. “Had they left me alone, I may feel a bit different. But they didn’t.”

The 54-year-old Brown added: “It’s not discouraging me, that’s for sure. If their intent was to discourage me, that’s definitely not the case.”

In addition to being opposed to Scott Brown for policy reasons he is pushing me even further away because of the way he is stringing New Hampshire voters along. There are other Republicans contemplating a run at Jeanne Shaheen who are waiting for Scott Brown to make a decision. If he runs they will step aside, because he is the establishment choice and they will see no support from the party, but if he chooses not to run they will throw their hats in the ring.

New Hampshire needs a decision now for any other Republican who decides to run in his absence will not have the name recognition of either Scott Brown or Jeanne Shaheen, which means they will most likely lose, and they are losing precious time needed to get that name recognition they desperately need.

Personally I hope that he does not run but it is time for him to do his business or get off the pot.

I live in Florida. To me, Scott Brown in no better than Charlie Crist. Crist drove our state into debt. Rick Scott had to clean it up. I also blame the RINO Jeb Bush. Lord help us if he runs. Even if it is for dog catcher.

I think that he is going to run, and even though by voting for a third party it will help reelect Shaheen I really do not see enough of a difference between the two to make a difference.

Was I mistaken in the belief that Jersey had a lock on republicans suffering with an identity crisis? We had Chris Christie who was torn between kissing Obalama on the lior kissing his
