Kathleen Sebelius resigns from the Department of Health and Human Services

April 10, 2014

Last week Barack Obama took what many called a ‘victory lap’ after the deadline to sign up for the healthcare reform law mandate came and went and it was reported that over 7 million people had successfully enrolled.

Of course the regime failed to mention that many, if not most, of these people had previously had healthcare insurance which was cancelled due to Obamacare so this does not represent 7 million people signing up for healthcare coverage for the first time. And when you force people to sign up for something is it really a victory when they do? He also did not mention that healthcare premiums have risen in the wake of the law at a higher rate than in recent years.

Those two issues were probably a big factor in today’s big news: Kathleen Sebelius is stepping down as head of the Department of Homeland Security and a new nominee will be announced tomorrow.

If Obamacare was the big success story that Barack Obama and the rest of the Democrats would have us believe than there is no doubt in my mind that Kathleen Sebelius would not be stepping down. This shows us, in my mind, that despite all of the Democratic rhetoric the healthcare law is not as healthy as they want up to think it is.

This is no victory lap for their is no victory here, just a change of the guard, and nothing will change. The beat will still go on…..

This is her opportunity to make the big bucks on the college speech circuit as she tells how the republicans f__ked Obamacare. Either that or her own show on MSLSD.

It’s must be getting a bit crowded under the Obama bus. I woder if she has good health insurance? She looks like death warmed over.

She did what was expected of her and now she will fade into history with a nice little golden parachute.

She will not suffer one bit, she will be put in one of the cushy jobs that all the staff from the Obama Administration that leave get put. As to the new girl, she is a fresh face for people to focus on now. Sebelius had become a person that people did not want to see, so just change of the guard. Nothing new will come from this, it will still be a mess.

Yep, Sebelius will be well taken care of for doing what was expected of her and nothing is going to change. A new face on the same policies, not much of a change at all if you ask me.
