Obamacare: over 1 million Americans are receiving incorrect subsidy payments
According to this article it is estimated that over 1 million Americans have received the wrong amount in subsidies to purchase their Obamacare healthcare plans.
The government may be paying incorrect subsidies to more than 1 million Americans for their health plans in the new federal insurance marketplace and has been unable so far to fix the errors, according to internal documents and three people familiar with the situation.
The problem means that potentially hundreds of thousands of people are receiving bigger subsidies than they deserve. They are part of a large group of Americans who listed incomes on their insurance applications that differ significantly — either too low or too high — from those on file with the Internal Revenue Service, documents show.
This should come as no surprise to readers of America’s Watchtower for early last December I wrote about this very subject: Because the payment part of the Federal healthcare exchange was not yet built the Federal government decided to let the insurers estimate what the government subsidies would be. Once that portion of the website was complete the Federal government would then make the payments right. What could possibly go wrong?
Here is part of what I wrote in December:
There was a new bombshell revelation in this report however and that is that the Obama regime intends to cope with this glitch by letting the insurance companies GUESS how much the Obama regime owes them in subsidies. The Obama regime will pay the insurance companies whatever amount they ask for and then will figure out sometime in the future what the insurance companies should have been paid and then make the payments correct.
Now this is coming to fruition and for those Americans who have received too little in subsidies this is actually good news for they will see their premiums decrease and I would guess they would also see a rebate check, but for the estimated hundreds of thousands of Americans who have received more government money than they should have this is a double whammy.
Not only will their premiums increase, and not only will they being paying more for healthcare than they thought they would be, but they will also have to pay back the money they received which they were not entitled to.
But the story does not end there because it turns out there is still a major problem with the website and they cannot pay back the money even if they wanted to:
The government has identified these discrepancies but is stuck at the moment. Under federal rules, consumers are notified if there is a problem with their application and asked to upload or mail in pay stubs or other proof of their income. Only a fraction have done so, according to the documents. And, even when they have, the federal computer system at the heart of the insurance marketplace cannot match this proof with the application because that capability has yet to be built, according to the three individuals.
So piles of unprocessed “proof” documents are sitting in a federal contractor’s Kentucky office, and the government continues to pay insurance subsidies that may be too generous or too meager.
Because this portion of the website is not finished the government cannot determine who is paying too much and who is paying too little so the current subsidy levels will continue to be paid out even though the Federal government knows there is a problem. Those people who are receiving too much in government subsidies will continue to rack up debt they have no idea they are someday going to be held liable for.
And yet the Federal government, and its willing accomplices in the mainstream media, continue to tell the American people the website is up and is fully functional.

How long before people in other countries receive a AHA subsidy along with their illegal welfare and social security disability checks?
