The IRS claims Lois Lerner’s emails were erased by a computer crash
In a comment to one of my posts last week Bunkerville said it was going to be interesting to see what the Obama regime’s Friday news dump would be and now we know. You had better sit down for this one because it is as unbelievable as it is infuriating.
Back on May 8th the IRS finally agreed to turn over all of Lois Lerner’s emails related to the IRS targeting scandal. However, there is a problem as the IRS notified the Congress today that the corrupt agency cannot turn over the documents because, in an astounding coincidence, they just happen to have been erased when the agency’s computer crashed.
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) claimed Friday that it cannot produce Lois Lerner’s emails to and from the White House and other administration departments due to a supposed computer crash.
The IRS previously agreed to hand over all of the ex-IRS official’s emails from 2009 to 2011 to the House Ways and Means Committee, chaired by Rep. Dave Camp. But the IRS claimed Friday that it has Lerner’s emails to and from other IRS officials but it cannot produce emails to and from the Treasury and Justice Departments, the Federal Election Commission, or Democratic offices.
What a remarkably fortunate accident! What are the chances that a computer crash just happened to wipe out evidence in a corruption investigation? Now, I don’t doubt for a moment that these emails were erased but the amount of hubris, arrogance, and audaciousness it takes to make such an absurd claim, with the expectation the Congress and the American people are actually going to believe it, is mind boggling.
But then again I should take the IRS at its word, after all Barack Obama said there was not a smidgen of corruption within the IRS. Move along, nothing to see here…..

Anarchy, anarchy, anarchy. Buck Ofama has fundamentaly transformed America into a banana republic not unlike the ones his children on the border are fleeing from. Pathetic.

It shows us how far we have fallen when the regime is so willing and able to claim something so blatantly false and unbelievable and nothing will happen to them. We have reached the point of no return…..

Stunning. Richard Nixon must be guffawing, wherever he might be.

I am pretty sure I know where Nixon is, and I am pretty sure he will have some company down there someday. Nixon could actually learn a thing or two watching this play out if he were alive today.

The justice system recovers deleted and lost files from defendants’ computer equipment every day over more menial infractions. Most gov’t agencies have computer forensic analysts on staff.

There is no doubt in my mind that even in the unlikely event that the emails were lost that they could recover them.

There is no such thing as a lost e-mail. Every one of the recipient servers has those documents. Even if the server crashed forensic tech’s can retrieve them unless they were intentionally scrubbed.

It just shows you how bold these people are, doesn’t it. They are laughing at us because they know they are going to get away with it

As things go in the world of “More is never enough” their laughter will need a jump-kick-UP after this scam/ruse is replaced by something bigger. Meaning, like a drug it wears off and they need another ‘hit’ … each time needing more and more to get that ‘laugh high or ‘feeling of elation’. The ‘high’ takes more work and the obsession increases. To prevent ‘withdraws’ they need to keep escalating from one con to another in order to prevent downward spiral. This is just one of items being juggled, while troops (boots on the ground), drones, etc. are in the Ukraine & ships to Iraq’s gulf.

Corporate America has to adhere to Sarbanes Oxley, how come the IRS doesn’t have to adhere to the same standards as set by their own? What the hell? It’s time for a deeper investigation, and for a lawsuit. Once again, the government demonstrates the “Do As I Say, Not As I Do” mentality. I am starting to think the only way we’re going to beat these sonsabitches is through bloodshed, like our forefathers did.
