Lois Lerner wanted to audit Charles Grassley after “accidentally” receiving a communication addressed to him
According to this story Lois Lerner accidentally received a communication which was supposed to go to Charles Grassley. This communication apparently invited his wife to attend a fundraiser and Lois Lerner’s first reaction was to ask whether an audit was in order.

The event organizer apparently offered to pay for Grassley’s wife to attend the event. In an email to another IRS official, Lerner suggests referring the matter for an audit, saying it might be inappropriate for the group to pay for his wife.
Lerner quipped, “Perhaps we should refer to exam?” in response. As the reimbursement would fall to Grassley to report as income, it’s thought she would have been referring to audit him and not the event organizer.
Needless to say, the Republicans who are investigating Lois Lerner ad the corrupt agency are not happy because it seems to prove the IRS was being used to target Barack Obama’s political opponents.
“We have seen a lot of unbelievable things in this investigation, but the fact that Lois Lerner attempted to initiate an apparently baseless IRS examination against a sitting Republican United States senator is shocking,” Rep. Dave Camp, R-Mich., chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, said. “At every turn, Lerner was using the IRS as a tool for political purposes in defiance of taxpayer rights.”
I hate to say this but I think it is time the Congress granted Lois Lerner immunity because at this point it might be the only way to get to the bottom of this scandal.

Grassley is Pro-2A, and this explains everything. The Oval Office Drama Queen schemed everything up, and also the means to cover it all up. The Obama Regime = R.I.C.O.

Not so sure about the immunity thing. I do not want to cut her any slack. That would be almost rewarding her for what she has done and she needs to feel that full force of the LAW coming down on her. It might be a bit harder for her to sing, but sing she must! She apparently has done a lot of damage to people over the years under the cover of the government, she gets what she deserves. What a piece of work she is and we know there are many more like her!
