Coal union protester does not even want to hear Barack Obama’s name
From time to time since Barack Obama won reelection in 2012 the coal unions have protested against Barack Obama’s energy policies and his use of the EPA to begin the implementation of his cap and trade agenda because it is costing them their livelihoods.
The last time this happened was at the beginning of August when the United Mine Workers of America held a protest in which their president, Cecil Roberts, among others, was arrested.
Every time this happens I like to remind these people that this is exactly what Barack Obama promised would happen and as proof I offer the following video where he makes that promise.

The President promised to bankrupt the coal industry and yet the unions threw their support behind him anyway, and the collective body of the union blindly listened to their so-called leaders, and now they are upset he is making good on that promise.
The United Mine Workers of America held a rally Tuesday in Washington, D.C., to protest Environmental Protection Agency regulations that they claim would destroy the nation’s coal industry and coal-related jobs while doing nothing to address climate change.
On Tuesday, current and retired workers convened at Freedom Plaza, then marched to EPA offices to protest EPA’s proposed Clean Power Plan, part of President Obama’s larger climate-change agenda, which aims to cut carbon pollution by imposing state-by-state emissions standards and fines for failure to meet those standards.
One union protester is so upset he does not even want to hear Barack Obama’s name:
CNSNews.com asked protesters, “If you could tell President Obama anything about these regulations today, what would you say?”
“Don’t even mention his name,” one protester said. “He’s the one stirring up a lot of the problems we’re having now with these coal-fired plants.”
“I wish [Obama] could walk a day in our shoes, let him come down to the mines and talk to us but I wish he could get down on our level and see what it’s doing to the coal industry, cause it’s sure – he and the EPA industry are sure ruining it,” said another protester.
Here is a little fact for that protester: Barack Obama does not have to come down there to visit you to see what his policies are doing, he already knows but he does not care because he is pushing his agenda and he warned you what he was going to do. This is what he wants to happen so perhaps you should focus your anger on the union leaders who led you astray.
Every time a read a story like this I get so damned frustrated because many of us tried to warn these people this would happen by showing this video over and over again and in return we were labeled racists, haters, and supporters of corporations and the 1% and why? For using Barack Obama’s own words against him.
You did not hear us when you had a chance to do something about this, can you hear us now?

We’re stuck with Obama, his Czars, his toadies implanted all over the federal bureaucracy, the terminal Kool Aide drinkers (eg. Gwenyth Paltrow) and his Executive Actions.
All we’ve got left are law suits and hopefully an even more Republican Congress after the next election to slow him down. After he’s out of office, we can begin the rebuilding, but it’s going to be hard.
On a paranoid note, people used to talk about Obama finding a ruse to extend his presidency via emergency declaration. How about a broken immigration control system combined with Ebola and EV-D68? Think he can use those to create enough of an emergency to stay in office?

I don’t think the Republicans are going to be able to do much to stop Obama even if they do make gains in the Congress because I think Obama will just start using the EO more and more.
I think Obama is purposely trying to create the border crisis and he will be using the ebola and EV viruses to try to expand his power and to implement more government controls on the people. I don’t think there is a chance at cancelling the election however.

Very well said, Steve. It’s not that these people were not warned. We can’t make people listen to us. We can’t force them to see the truth. Now they’ve woken up, but it is too late for them. The same thing will happen on ObamaCare. The same thing will happen on his open borders policy and amnesty. The same thing will happen over and over again. This is precisely why the progressive/socialist,Marxists have been successful these last 100 years. Their greatest talent has always been their skill at pulling the wool over the sheep’s eyes. The tragedy, of course, is that they take the rest of us down with them.

In the next several years I see all of the things you mentioned coming home to roost. We are on this slow, downward spiral and once we get to a certain point the spiral will become increasingly faster and the downfall will be swift.

Jim, I think that most people want to believe what they are told. Then there are the few of us that question everything. We are the skeptics that are pushed aside because they believe we are nuts and crying wolf all the time. We, at this point, know what is happening and I think there are a few of the “believers” that are starting to question what is going on in the White House, now. Will it be in enough time to turn this crap around? I doubt it and I hate having to say that. There are still the “takers” that will pull the lever for whoever gives them the most or promises them the most and I have a feeling they might out number us now.

It will be curious to see how these coal states votes. The gop should be running away with the election. But they are not.

It will be interesting but I think there is still enough support from the unions to make it hard for the Republicans to take over these seats. You said it, the fact that they are not running away with this is a bad sign for the GOP.

Bunker, have you ever noticed that the union members will get all up in an uproar against their leaders until the leaders come out swinging and then they calm back down and step back in line? I have seen this happen alot, all they have to do is reprimand the sheep and they become good union members again. So much for taking out those leaders and maybe putting ones in place that just might have some interest in someone other than themselves and the money they will rake in.

I for one do not believe the GOP will take over the senate. This election will be a repeat of 2012 when a trained monkey could have beat Obola yet the rovepublicans managed to lose. The litany of his scandals, his failures in foreign affairs, his disregard of our borders, the importation of disease from South America and Africa, etc should be enough for his perp walk yet the American people can’t get enough of him. Do we mock the miners or pity their igmorance, their foolishness?

I am right there with you. I do not believe the Republicans will retake the Senate as long as they are running rovepublicans. (I like that!) They do not have their act together, they have no message, and always manage to grab defeat out of the jaws of victory.

I am with both of you on this, I do not think they are “solid” on anything that they stand for. We have a split party in the Republicans. One thing you can say for the Democrats, they stand together or go down together. Republicans cannot stand the thought of not being the good old boy party and that will be the down fall of all of us.

Who is that ‘red neck comedy tour’ guy who says “stupid should hurt”? Well, the coal miners were very stupid, and it sounds like they are being hurt, but as COF says, the left are masters of obfuscation.
