Audience at New Hampshire debate laughs at Jeanne Shaheen when she dodges a question on whether or not she supports Barack Obama’s agenda

October 22, 2014

As has been well-reported the Democrats who are considered to be vulnerable have been trying to distance themselves from Barack Obama, to the point where two have refused to answer whether or not they voted for him.

This was in evidence once again last night in a debate here in New Hampshire between Scott Brown and Jeanne Shaheen. Jeanne Shaheen was asked a simple yes or no question from the moderator: “Do you approve of the job Barack Obama is doing?” Needless to say, she did not give a yes or no answer and it drew laughter from the audience.

The reason this drew laughter from the audience is because Jeanne Shaheen voted with Barack Obama 99% of the time, and this was rated as mostly true by PolitiFact, so everybody understands that she does.

When she said “in some ways I approve and some things I don’t approve” she is technically right because apparently she did disapprove on in issue or two somewhere along the way or her voting record would have been 100%, but for all intents and purposes if you vote with an agenda 99% your answer should be a simple one-yes.

Ever the skeptic I must ask is the audience laughing with her rather than at her?

It is real funny, isn’t it? What a big joke it is, but then again, guess you had to be there! I am not laughing much these days, in fact I would say I am in a pretty bitter mood that this country could have gone down hill so fast. If they can just hold Obama off long enough, maybe they can get in enough votes to win.

It is sad seeing what has happened in so short of a time but at least people appear to be starting to wake up.

The problem is, they did not start “listening” until it was probably to late to turn this around. We will give it our best shot, but I wonder if it will be enough?!? I said above I am in a pretty bitter mood, you can probably guess I went light on how I feel. I imagine there are others out there that feel the same. My kids tell me I get “the look” when they know I have been pushed as far as I can be pushed. Apparently they know not to push me any further. It is the same look I saw in my dad and both my brothers, I was unaware I had it! Guess that look is surfacing on my face now and maybe it will work to my advantage

I think I have the same look right about now. Obama has been doing everything he can to incite us but maybe he pushed it too far. We may have already lost our chance to stop what is coming but until it is officially over we have to keep fighting.

Glad you tagged this one Steve. Here’s a similar one.

Nothing new under the sun. I have yet to find one New Jerseyite who voted for Prez Ebola which is curious given his overwhelming majority here in 2012. Most likely these moral cowards will still toe the democrat line on Novemer 4th.
