Mary Landrieu loses big in Louisiana Senate runoff election
In one final rebuke of Barack Obama and his policies, the voters of Louisiana sent Democratic incumbent Senator Mary Landrieu home with a 56-44% defeat at the hands of her Republican challenger, Bill Cassidy.
As you can tell by the final margin this was not even a close race and when an incumbent loses by such a large margin it is a clear indication of how the people feel about the party of said incumbent.
This of course gives the Republicans a 54-46 vote majority in the Senate and a clear message was sent to Washington by the people. However John Boehner seems to not be listening to that message so I would like to reiterate something I wrote earlier to the Dear Speaker: The House Republicans picked up seats in the mid-term election and the Republicans now hold a 54-46 seat majority in the Senate. NEWSFLASH: THE REPUBLICANS WON THE ELECTION! The voters have rejected Barack Obama, the Democrats, and their policies so START ACTING LIKE IT!

You know I was pleased to hear about Mary being defeated, short of major fraud, I didn’t think she would get the votes. Having said that, I also do not believe with the 54 Senators we now have that things will change. First we have to deal with the House and John Boehner and what a mess he is doing to the majority there. We have a split party and we are being played. If we cannot control what comes out of the House, what difference will it make that we have the majority in the Senate now? We have Speaker Boehner siding with the Dems on alot and we also have the “secret” meetings with the Dems and the President, that sure makes me have faith that HE will do what we have asked them to do. So, it is a bitter sweet win and one that I congratulate Congressman-elect Cassidy to his new position and hope his voice might make a difference

I am with you Lou, nothing is going to change until Boehner is gone. This was a step in the right direction (pun intended) but unless Boehner stops acting like an elitist it will be more of the same.

Funny how it works that way.
The concept is still valid, as it was 5-6 years ago, that just because the majority favors a certain course of action, it does not mean that it is the correct one.

Nothing really positive will be done until ’16 and that’s only if we get a true stringless conservative with enough brass to remove the real problem. Central banking. Until that’s done anyone holding any office will do as they’re told to do, they’re mere puppets. Thus far the mass media as always is guiding the people with who they want us to vote for, and that’s Romney. I don’t want Romney in there. What he will do, will make improvements to the economy, but it’s only to continue benefiting bankers.. you and I will continue to struggle until there’s just no more value in the country. People are talking too much about the budget deficit, now 18 trillion, that to me is a sideshow. America is in debt well over 100 trillion. An amount this country can never repay as it is, and with central banking now publishing almost everything they do and how they do it they don’t even care if we know anymore. They’re too entrenched everywhere, and politicians are scared shitless of them. Romney during the primaries in ’12 guffawed at questions about correcting the unconstitutional things that obama had already done to our system stating, ‘well I don’t have the details, I’ll have to look into it.’ That sounds really promising eh? We’re going nowhere fast. I have more faith in Dr Carter than anyone else as I know as he doesn’t come with controlled political strings, but no idea as to his real ability to lead a country. We’ll improve as a country regardless if a conservative gets in, but it’s only going to be another short ride till the next recession…

Sonny, my fear is that Jeb Bush is the entitled one for this next election….that would be a major mistake to let him get voted in. We do not need any more of the Bush or Clinton dynasty going on. I like Dr. Carson, but wonder about his policies since we don’t know much about those yet. I also like Cruz, Lee and to a lesser extent Paul. I know that we will probably have Rick Perry stepping up to the plate again as well as Kasich. At least they have some experience, but I just wonder if it needs to be more of an unknown OR a Governor that has some experience at running “anything”. We see what we got with Obama that had no experience doing anything other than community organizing!

Lou, obama is falling because of 2 things. His socialist agenda, starting with obamacare and now open borders attitude, and secondly and even more important in my opinion, his desire to bring diversity into the whitehouse. I don’t really care who is running any position in the whitehouse, as long as they are the best possible person there is. We’ve seen the failure of African americans, asian, women and just about everyone else he’s brought in. Not because of what color, gender, or race they are, but because they were not the best we could have. He hasn’t a clue about what’s important when it comes to selecting people for the whitehouse. I don’t care who is in office, they must be the absolute best we can find, and I don’t care what party they are. Obviously bringing in diversity is more important to obama..
Jeb, I just can’t see him making it unless the media starts heralding him more than they are Romney right now. Mass media has made it pretty clear thus far, that Romney is the only person that can beat hillary. I don’t believe that for a minute, hillary produces new gaffs every time she opens her mouth, and I think just about anyone could stand against her simply on conservative principle. Jeb would be just another bush I/II and that means simply more of the same.. war and spending lots of money on it. I wouldn’t be afraid of Dr. Carter, only because he’s the kind of person that would admit up front any mistakes he’s made, then actually do something to correct it. Every time obama made a mistake (often) he simply denied responsibility and someone got thrown under the bus…. And as well I believe Dr Carter would surround himself with the right cabinet members more appropriately for what they are needed for… guidance…

I am there with you, put the people in the Administration that can HANDLE the job, not because of their color or sex. We have seen more failures under this administration than I can remember in numerous ones before it. You cannot run a country with putting those in place you are paying back or because they are the right color, it doesn’t work that way. As I said before the media is shoving Romney down our throats, but the right is starting to push Bush. I do not see a strong candidate on the left and I sure don’t think that Clinton is entitled to the position, but I could be wrong about the left. I was thrilled to see Col. West get into office, just to be voted out by fraud and I am glad Tim Scott was put in the Senate. I see so much bad shit going on with the CBC that they didn’t want West in there and they do not want Scott in now. What does that tell us? It is color partially, but it is also partyline, as well. I guess the closer we get to 2016 we will hear more about the candidates that will be putting in their hats for being the nominee.
As for Obama, he is NOT a strong leader and it was very evident to the majority of us on the right and even alot of the Libertarians, of which I think I am probably closer to being than a Republican now. He had a strong campaign and he sold himself to those that are on the dole, the numbers rising daily. If we do not get control of what is going on with the House at the moment, it really will not make any difference in 2016 because the damage will be done with Amnesty by then and the left/progressives will have all the votes they need to keep a Democrat/Socialist/Communist in office from now on. So much for my day, now I am depressed!!!!

Unfortunately the establishment Republicans are going to pick the candidate once again and I fear it is going to be Jeb Bush.

Unfortunately, the entire political party system has shifted, to the left The progressive liberals have taken over as Democrats, Republicans have moved to center, maybe even a little left of center are now more like the Democrats, tea party and libertarians are filling the vacuum of true conservatism and more like Republicans to me. I know many would argue this as true Democrats were much different 30 40 years ago, but it’s the closet parallel I can come up with. Regardless, most in the whitehouse now are almost useless as both parties are no longer representing the people that put them there. All that matters now is ‘how do I keep this power I’ve obtained.’ Every vote they cast seemingly is in consideration of, will I lose my job if I vote for this… rather than this is truly what’s best for the people I represent..
