Did Jonathan Gruber lie to the Oversight Committee when he claimed he was not an Obamacare architect?

 As you all know, Jonathan Gruber testified under oath yesterday to the Oversight Committee. During his testimony he claimed that he was not an Obamacare architect, and insisted that he only provided some economic modeling for the legislation. 

  However, during a speech to MIT students in 2012 he said something a little bit different. The following video is almost 40 minutes long but if you skip to the 8:57 mark you will hear Jonathan Gruber tell the attendees, under the interest of full disclaimer, that  “I helped write it.”

  Well he certainly was talking differently back then, wasn’t he? Of course this leaves open the possibility that he was lying in 2012 in order to inflate his own self-importance in front of college students whom he hoped to impress with his brilliance, but it could also mean that he lied to the Oversight Committee.

  The only thing we know at this point is that he was either lying then or he is lying now. So which is it? I guess he will have to come before the Oversight Committee once again to explain this recent revelation.
