Here is the open thread for Sunday, January 4th. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.
This week was a tough week to find stories to write about but we still managed to discuss 11 issues, did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure it does not happen again. I understand that all of you are busy and cannot always find the time to check the blog for updates so why not subscribe to America’s Watchtower and receive email updates whenever I write a new post? That is the easiest way to follow the blog to ensure you never miss another post.
In addition to subscribing you can also follow America’s Watchtower on Facebook and Twitter by clicking the links on the right. But you will get more than that for I often post links to articles I probably will not be writing about so it is a great way to keep up with what is happening.
The Twitter widget in the sidebar is fully interactive. This widget updates my tweets in real time and allows you to respond to or retweet my tweets right from the blog. It also allows you to tweet me right from America’s Watchtower. How cool is that! If you do not have a Twitter account what better reason do you need to sign up for one!?

SDL, I am going to say the same about you, must be a mellow morning for you, as well! I enjoyed the song AND the scenery that went along with the video. What a ride that would be, it would not be the same in a vehicle. Maybe they were headed to or leaving Sturgis??

Muse has many different styles, they don’t stick to one. Here is a Muse song that is heavier, especially towards the end.

I am too, as well as the 2 cats from he!! that allow us to live in this house with them, they always enjoy me cranking up the tunes that are posted! This is much more like YOU! I was beginning to worry you were losing your touch, haha! Have a good day, Steve, hope the weather was not too “harsh” on you, but have a feeling it was.

I actually like quite a bit of different types of music, that is why I love Muse so much; they can go from piano, to acoustic, to electronic, to rock and they even threw a little opera in on one CD.
We got about an inch of snow before it turned to rain last night. It was hell trying to clean up the driveway this morning because it was slush, but we have had worse.

It is 5 degrees here this morning, minus 15 degrees windchill. Burrrr! I got the trash put out to the street, tried to open Miss Miata’s doors, frozen shut, guess she will not go in the garage, I forgot to put her in there last night. Hope the other car will start for me AND have the doors open. I love winter, but I also have to be able to get into the car, go figure. Hope all is well with everyone in your own part of the country (countries), We have 3 inches of snow coming and we have high winds (21 mph and gusts higher) and so you know what that does, drifts. I live out where it is all open and boy will the streets drift, we do have great township guys that keep at the plowing, gotta love them.
