Mitt Romney is quickly reassembling his campaign apparatus

January 12, 2015

Despite multiple past claims to the contrary last week Mitt Romney told former donors that he is seriously considering yet another run at the Presidency in 2016.

It now appears to be a sure thing because, according to this story, he is quickly trying to reassemble his 2012 campaign apparatus.

  Here is more:

Mitt Romney is moving quickly to reassemble his national political network, spending the weekend and Monday calling former aides, donors and other supporters — as well as onetime foes such as Newt Gingrich.

Romney’s message was that he is serious about making a 2016 presidential bid. He told one senior Republican he “almost certainly will” run in what would be his third campaign for the White House, this person said.

His aggressive outreach over the past three days indicates that Romney’s declaration of interest to a group of donors in New York Friday was more than the release of a trial balloon but rather was the start of a concerted push by the 2012 nominee to be an active participant in the 2016 campaign.

mittromney2-460x307There is no doubt in my mind at this point that Mitt Romney is once again going to run for President. So our choices will be between Mitt Romney, Chis Christie, and Jeb Bush–establishment elitists all–and in the end one of these men will be the nominee once the establishment coalesces around a single candidate.

We can long for another candidate to make a splash and emerge from the shadows as a legitimate option but once the money starts floating in to the “chosen one” in this election by the establishment the deal will be sealed by those that really chose our candidates for us, for we are only under the illusion of having a real choice. And we will once again go down in defeat and it probably will not be all that close…

It is a sad fact of life, but a fact all the same, that an unbelievable amount of money is needed to be elected. I agree they represent the establishment all too well.
But who out there could win, even with additional money? Romney came close last time. I am not sure Hillary would have an easy win. Christy is over, and I still thing Jeb has bid trouble, not the least is the last name. I don’t think Christy is a fundamentally good human being, but I think Romney and Bush are. Actually I want Ben Carson, but if wishes were fishes….
ALL i CAN HOPE FOR IS A NON-HILLARY WIN

That’s pretty much what we have to hope for as well as a non-Warren win as well. Even if Jeb were the perfect candidate his last name alone will preclude him from winning the presidency.

Ted Cruz is one that I like, he has not made any indication one way or the the other at this point what his intentions are.

If he did, they would be tearing him apart already! Guess he wants to hold back for awhile, but I think he will. I also think the ones announcing too soon will fizzle out early after being attacked. I do not want Hillary Clinton or Elizabeth Warren, but who knows who will end up with. I DO know that it is probably already in the bag, as I type this. So much for us voting, huh?

Now it is being reported that Cruz is thinking about running and you know the attacks will now be doubled. I think it is inevitable that either Hillary or Lizzy will be the next President but we must do everything possible to stop this from happening!

I like them both Swiss, but both of them have already taken a beating both within their party and in the media. I may be too cynical, but you can’t underestimate the stupidity of the voter. The voter hears about all the give-aways in Europe, and will vote for the person offering them the most free stuff.

Most of the people still buy into the idea that the media is not biased and would never lie to them, until we change that mindset we are in trouble!
