Here is the open thread for Sunday, February 15th. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.
Last week was another slow one with only 9 posts but did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure it does not happen again. I understand that all of you are busy and cannot always find the time to check the blog for updates so why not subscribe to America’s Watchtower and receive email updates whenever I write a new post? That is the easiest way to follow the blog to ensure you never miss another post.

The Twitter widget in the sidebar is fully interactive. This widget updates my tweets in real time and allows you to respond to or retweet my tweets right from the blog. It also allows you to tweet me right from America’s Watchtower. How cool is that! If you do not have a Twitter account what better reason do you need to sign up for one!?
With the snow which is currently falling we have now received about 6 feet of snow here at the America’s Watchtower compound in the last 4 weeks. This has us all thinking about, and longing for, the warmer weather. (Where is that global warming when you need it?!)

Found some Brash Cold A** Honkey beer at Friar Tuck’s the other day, of course had to get some, just because. It says “this saison is ridiculously dry hopped while still allowing the saison style to shine”, sound like something to try at least once.

I have had that song stuck in my head since yesterday when I decided to use it. I had more than my share on Cognac (and I don’t drink the stuff) during the Superbowl so I am going to stick to beer for awhile. 😉 And speaking of beer if I had seen that beer you bought I would have bought it as well.

I am an avid V8 juice drinker, I have to HAVE it in the refer at all times, so I also love a good Bloody Mary! I, however, stay away from Southern Comfort, will not bore you with the details, but, let’s just say I remember why I never want to touch it again and it has been almost 41 years since I have!

I was looking on Youtube the other day and was checking out the old songs from The Chad Mitchell Trio and New Christy Minstrel Singers and found that John Denver had some tunes with Chad Mitchell. Thanks for sharing this one, I always liked his songs.

FYI: This past Friday a candlelight vigil was held in Paterson, NJ for the three “folks’ shot in that Chapel Hill parking lot. The usual suspects were among the hundreds of peace loving muslims parading for equality and justice: there were your catholic priests and nuns, blacks and latinos making the trek from nearby towns as well. The love thy neighbor planners organized a collection for canned foods as part of the rally; still scratching my head over that one. So the question any rational person might ask is how many of these hundreds demanding hate crime status for the murder of the three were among the thousands of Islamist peaceniks who danced in the streets of Paterson, NJ, on September 11th, 2001?

You have a valid question, Peter! I do not have an answer, but one would wonder! Maybe the can goods are for throwing, like that school wanted children to have in case of a “terrorist” attack! I am also getting tired of the use of “folks”! Guess once they start labeling other attacks as hate crimes (the list is long) then this one can get in line. I am tired of being politically correct, I will not participate in that crap any further.

You guys are getting more snow than we here up north are getting. I have to admit though, it is nice that we get less for a change. Hey, some pretty important news is just breaking. Yeah, somehow the pattern got reversed this year, as long as ski country has enough snow for the season I wouldn’t be complaining either if I were you. (But I think it is time we send some of it your way. :))

Send it back to us! We’re are dryer than ever recorded, and breaking heat records. Moonbeam Brown and his other climate change fanatics are using this to “fundamentally transform” California. No matter what happens, it is the result of man made global warming.
But here is the real insult to intelligence. I work on 100+ year old homes (I know, new for the east coast). These were made from our old growth Douglas Fir trees, often 500 to 1000 years old. I have seen growth rings so close you couldn’t count them, showing drought that lasted for 30 years. We are supper screwed if that happens now, but it did happen back when a carbon foot print was no more than a camp fire.

Actually Steve, they have destroyed dozens, albeit smaller, dams and reservoirs here in N. CA to “restore habitat”. They just passed a billion dollar water bond issue so filled with pork that I doubt any money will make it’s way to a project. We have a whole ocean here, so we should be doing desalinization, but we are building a stupid train to nowhere. Desalinization uses a lot of electricity, best produced by nuclear, but the granola bars that have taken control will have no part of that. Moonbeam Brown is a perfect example of what CA has become. The only good thing I can say about Brown is that he isn’t the worst we have here.

They are going to find out soon enough that they are really not WORTH the money they want. There is always someone else that will work for less. Those illegals would be GLAD to take those jobs. Unions had their purpose years ago for the people,, but now they are in it for the higher ups and the workers either don’t see this or they choose to ignore it.

Bruce, sorry you are so short on water, we have a well and WE need the moisture over the winter to make sure things are alright for summer. We have been short on precipitation all winter, here. I refuse to hook up to city water, besides the triple bill because we live in the county, you also have the added crap in it. I do not drink the water when I am in town, either, might as well drink bleach! Steve, I do not envy you with all the additional snow you do not need, maybe when summer comes, you will be griping about the heat and wishing for the cold??? Ya, probably not! At least you are building up the muscles with all of the shoveling you are probably doing!

Instead of a beverage, how about some different embalming ingredient! Formaldehyde in your veins … which is noted to be in vaccines.
Why create a vaccine with toxics and take away the rights from parents and people in general, from having a say to ‘opt out?’ If theses vaccines were created ‘without’ MSG, formaldehyde, aluminum and mercury, etc., people wouldn’t have to be so concerned, but they aren’t.
Aaron and Melissa discuss how a 7 yr boy w/ cancer is being ‘used’ to promote mandatory vaccination – but evidence shows that he’s more in risk of complications being around those who’ve been recently vaccinated than not. Some of what’s in the vaccines can actually cause cancer! This little boy is suppose to stay away from people in general, but in this new age mentality, he’s a pawn to enforce injecting everyone with toxic ingredients that bring in huge profits (the boy’s Dr. dad is one benefiting $$$). What use to be considered ‘safe’ is no more – when the Enemy is in control you know what they’re pushing is deadly. Big Pharm.

I had not seen the 2nd video about what all is written on the walls. I have been to some of the places, but not all in the video. The Progressives are doing their best to wipe out anything that might be religious, at least “certain” religions.

Different god, Steve. The God of Truth is unacceptable to them who cloak themselves in secrets (who use words like transparency! but deal behind closed doors and under the table). That’s why pointing out, that those pushing the toxic vaccines are profiting from it, while the globalist profit too and forward their agenda of depopulation – those vaccines in Africa sterilize the people and the Gates Foundation is all for that (Eugenics). The outcome is what Lou states about the UN-progressives wiping out the Truth – they have their own religion and Truth is not welcome. Truth is not a religion. Why would he be accountable when no one will call him on it? The media covers for him and the general population doesn’t want to hear it, they have enough of their own problems to worry about what he does or says. The problem is, they do not realize that it is all tied together! When or IF they come to their senses, maybe things might change, but until then, he will do what he wants WHEN he wants and we will LIKE it! Right?

The video from Infowars was most telling! Wow, no wonder he is asking CONGRESS to approve it. I wondered why he didn’t just force the issue and go behind their backs but, instead asked for their approval, this was the answer, I guess. When it back fires, he will be able to say that CONGRESS gave the approval, not him…so once again he will not be taking any blame. I am so sick of this man!

Ya, Steve, it just seemed strange for him to want to “work” with them, but now we know! We know he has to have someone else to take the blame, so there you have it. I have never seen such as mess as this Administration, they are certainly not mature enough to run a country and I shake my head at the people that voted for them that thought they were.
Hope your weather is getting better, but I have a feeling it might be awhile before that happens. We have -15 to -20 degrees windchill for a next day or so, makes a person not want to go out that door!

Pretty bad when 30 seems like a heat wave, isn’t it? We have snow and ice coming Friday and Saturday, but this IS winter, so guess it is expected. I think it went into hyper drive in your area, however! I turn 61 on the 22nd, so the Mother in law is coming up, but I have to drive 2 hours to get her and take her back after about 4 days here, I hope the weather hold for us. It sure can change in a matter of hours and 120 miles distance. She is down by St. Louis and had 8 inches of snow, we are north-east of there and had a light dusting, go figure.

Happy birthday in advance futuret! We are expecting it to get cold again real soon, this “heatwave” is not going to last long. It is supposed to get windy here as well over the weekend and with the possibility of a snow/rain mix over the weekend it could reek havoc on people who have several feet of snow on their roofs.

I AM A TROPICAL GIRL BY NATURE, BEING RAISED MOST OF MY LIFE IN FLORIDA, WHERE WE HAVE PALM TREES, AND SURROUNDING BEACHES. BEING HERE IN GEORGIA WELL OVER 20 YEARS, THE SNOW AT TIMES HAS PRODUCED A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE.

Thanks, guys ( don’t be offended Futeret, I call everyone “guys”, I grew up with all brothers and boy cousins, so that is what I call people)! I am still holding onto 60 for a few more days! My birthday is the “original” Washingtons birthday the 22nd, until it was moved for convenience. How does that happen? Does that make my birthday movable, too? Hmmm! My friend here in town has the 21st so we have celebrated for years together. That is pretty cool about the 3 birthdays together.
The bad weather is BAD this year, wonder if it is Climate Change doing it,,,,OR,,,,maybe it is just the natural course of events that HAPPENS! I kind of hold with that natural way, but what would I know! That snow on the roof can get bad. A few years back, I was fortunate to see “snow rollers”, on the roof, in the yard. They were a bit over a foot wide and it looked like someone just rolled up jelly rolls all over, it was the craziest thing to see. They look like white rolls of sod. It happens so very seldom, but at least I saw it, kind of like the lightening when it is snowing, another phenomenon that is seldom experienced.
Well, I best get the cats fed and pour a hot cup of tea, the day has to get started soon, but I am procrastinating a bit longer! We have been getting the papers together for all the rentals and the taxes, bet you can figure how fun that is! Stay safe with all the strange weather patterns, everyone!
