Elizabeth Warren says she is not going to run for President in 2016 on The Today Show

 Elizabeth Warren and Mitt Romney have one thing in common: despite persistent rumors to the contrary both are denying they have any intention of running for President in 2016. Personally, I believe Mitt Romney is not going to run but despite her claims I feel the door is still open for a possible Presidential run from Elizabeth Warren.

  On The Today Show Savannah Guthrie pressed Elizabeth Warren several times on whether or not she was going to run for the Presidency in 2016–in fact, in my opinion, it almost seemed as if she was pleading with her to run–and the Senator from Massachusetts emphatically stated that she has no intention of running in 2016.

 The left might not want to admit it publicly but Hillary Clinton’s email scandal has legs and it is not going to go away anytime soon. This is not a “phony scandal” or a scandal which was “whipped up in Washington.” There is the real possibility that this scandal could end Hillary Clinton’s Presidential aspirations, and along with it the hopes and dreams of the Democratic party which was once united on her candidacy.

  Elizabeth Warren might be sincere when she says she is not considering a run for President but if the left continues to apply pressure on her will she be able to resist the temptation if it does indeed look as if the email scandal will take Hillary Clinton out of contention? 

  Personally I  think the pressure and the ego stroking will be too hard to resist for Elizabeth Warren when push comes to shove unless, of course, Hillary Clinton survives this scandal. Elizabeth Warren has become the darling of the left and there seems to be some distrust of Hillary Clinton on the far left so even if she survives this scandal I would not rule out the possibility Elizabeth Warren will succumb to the pressure of the anti-Hillary lobby.
