The left turns on Bruce Jenner after he admits he is a Christian conservative-leaning Republican who believes in the Constitution

 I have not paid much attention to the Bruce Jenner story because simply it does not interest me, what a person does in his private life is nobody’s business but his own–or at least this story did not interest me until now. When it first came to light that Bruce Jenner was “transitioning into a woman” the left was giddy because they thought they had a famous transgendered celebrity, and American hero, who they could use as an example to hold up to the American people in their fight for LGBTQ rights.

  However something interesting, and altogether unexpected, happened on the way to the battle for equal rights for the LBGTQ community–Bruce Jenner told the world that he was a Christian conservative-leaning Republican. And to top it all of he said be believes in the Constitution.

 Needless to say this did not sit well with many on the left and it did not take long for them to turn on Bruce Jenner as can be seen here and here. The left had turned him into a liberal icon simply because they assumed what his political leanings were based simply on who he was or, perhaps more accurately, who he hopes to become. This is a classic example of the left’s assumption that all people of a certain group–whether it be race, gender, sexual preference, or class–must all vote the same way and not be individually-minded.

  In my opinion those on the left who have turned on Bruce Jenner have shown us who the real bigots are and I believe they have shown us they do not give a damn about transgendered peoples’ rights but are only interested in using them for political reasons. As you can see if you follow the links above, many on the left have no use for somebody like Bruce Jenner if their political beliefs are not in alignment with their own and as I see it this is a blatant example of liberal hypocrisy.

  But there was one group who applauded Bruce Jenner’s announcement:

But one group — the Log Cabin Republicans — welcomed Jenner into its fold. Its National Executive Director Gregory T. Angelo issued this statement:

“As the nation’s only organization representing LGBT conservatives and straight allies, Log Cabin Republicans congratulates Bruce Jenner in the tremendous courage he demonstrated tonight, being true to himself both in terms of his personal identity as well as his political identity,” Gregory T. Angelo, the Log Cabin Republicans’ national executive director, said in a statement. “There is a home for you in Log Cabin Republicans — as there is for all lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, and transgender conservatives and straight allies.”

  But the people on the right are the intolerant ones? Personally I believe Bruce Jenner is a very confused person but it is not up to me to judge him for his personal life choices, God will judge him someday. Well, God and the intolerant left I should say…
