George Stephanopoulos recuses himself from GOP debate after donating $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation

May 14, 2015

Roughly four years after the debate in which George Stephanopoulos ambushed Mitt Romney with a question on birth control thereby setting the so-called Republican war on women in motion (something many of us believe was a consorted effort between Mr. Stephanopoulos and the Democratic Party) he has been forced to recuse himself from a GOP primary debate next February after it was learned he donated $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation.

  Here is more:

George Stephanopoulos says he should not have donated money to the Clinton Foundation and that he will not moderate the ABC News-sponsored Republican primary debate in February after failing to disclose those contributions.

In an interview with the On Media blog on Thursday, Stephanopoulos said that while he made the donations “for the best reasons,” he now realizes he should not have given.

“In retrospect, I probably shouldn’t have, even though I did it for the best reasons,” he said.

Stephanopoulos also said that he has given a total of $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation. That figure represents charitable contributions of $25,000 in 2012, 2013 and 2014, respectively. ABC News initially said that Stephanopoulos had given a total of $50,000 to the foundation.

That means the same year he blindsided Mitt Romney he also just happened to donate $25,000 to the Clinton Foundation, which confirms to me what many of us have all believed–he was a biased “reporter” with an obvious agenda and not the straight media reporter he is purported to be.

Not that this is news to many of us but at least now he can no longer hide in the shadows. His chickens might be coming home to roost…

So then even after Candy Ass Crowley and the pipsqueak Stefanopolufugus blindside the republican Mitt “foot in my mouth & state run health care author” Romney and, especially in Crowley’s case, cost the republican candidate the election, the GOP still agrees to debate with democrat operative moderators. Donations to the Clinton Crime Family Foundation changed nothing; a mere bag of shells.

Yeah, I would have been surprised to learn he didn’t donate to the foundation. I guess this really is a no-win situation for the Republicans because if they only debate on Fox the other networks will attack them even harder, perhaps they need to be better prepared for the bias they know will be coming from the moderators.

Man, you crack me up! Candy-ass Crowley, George Snuffleupagus, and Mitt ‘foot-in-mouth disease’ Romney. Good AKAs for these three…

In Scripture, ‘charity [Love] shall cover the multitude of sins.’ They is their pagan way of doing it – ‘money covers up guilt and lewdness.’ It’s difficult to find news about someone doing the right thing. Although Brittius’s recently showed a charity story with us! So, true charity is going on among us but the crud that runs the world system only wants to show the end product (waste), to make & keep people discouraged. More in line with what Hosea was told to write back in his day: “… the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred.” Those who think the bullet missed them: “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” (Rev 20v12)

Steve, Steve, Steve, we are just mean to be picking on poor snuffleupagus for spending his money the way he sees fit – you know, donating to the charity foundation of a lying, cheating former elected official instead of to charities which actually help the needy. Shame, shame on us, we are evil!

Instead of criticizing poor snuffle, we should be commending him for removing himself from the debate. What more could we ask for????

What was I thinking Laura?! Of course he was donating money for the right reasons and of course he did the right thing in stepping down, what a great and honorable man! 😉
