The Clinton Foundation paid Sidney Blumenthal $10,000 a month while he was secretly advising Hillary Clinton on Libya
When Hillary Clinton was appointed as Secretary of State she wanted to have Sidney Blumenthal work at the State Department, however the thin-skinned Barack Obama blocked him over statements he made during the 2008 election.
Among the emails is correspondence from former Clinton aide and adviser Sidney Blumenthal, whom Clinton wanted to work at the State Department. The hire was blocked by the Obama administration because of stinging criticisms Blumenthal made toward Obama during the 2008 Democratic primary.
Well, if this story is true, it looks as though Hillary Clinton found a way to spit in the face of the President because it is now being reported that Sidney Blumenthal was secretly advising Hillary Clinton on Libya and that is not all. We are now learning that the Clinton Foundation was paying him $10,000 a month and has been since 2009.
Sidney Blumenthal, a longtime confidant of Bill and Hillary Clinton, earned about $10,000 a month as a full-time employee of the Clinton Foundation while he was providing unsolicited intelligence on Libya to then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to multiple sources familiar with the arrangement.
Blumenthal was added to the payroll of the Clintons’ global philanthropy in 2009 — not long after advising Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign — at the behest of former president Bill Clinton, for whom he had worked in the White House, say the sources.
Officially he was supposedly being paid as a public relations guy whose job it was to make Bill Clinton look good, however this looks suspiciously like Bill and Hillary Clinton found a backdoor way to pay him for the information he was supplying Hillary Clinton in secret and unbeknownst to the same President who did not want him in the State Department in the first place.
