Bernie Sanders pulls ahead of Hillary Clinton in latest New Hampshire poll
The last few New Hampshire Democratic primary polls have showed Bernie Sanders creeping up on Hillary Clinton and now, for the first time, the former Senator from Vermont has pulled ahead of the presumptive nominee. Here is more:
Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders has rocketed past longtime front-runner Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire, a stunning turn in a race once considered a lock for the former secretary of state, a new Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll shows.
Sanders leads Clinton 44-37 percent among likely Democratic primary voters, the first time the heavily favored Clinton has trailed in the 2016 primary campaign, according to the poll of 442 Granite-Staters.
Vice President Joe Biden got 9 percent support in the test primary match-up. The other announced Democrats in the race, former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee and former Virginia Gov. Jim Webb, barely register at 1 percent or below.
And not only has he taken the lead in the Granite State but he has moved ahead by seven points (outside the margin of error) in a short period of time. I think this new poll shows us a couple of things: Hillary Clinton is just not that likable and, regardless of what the left says in her defense, the email scandal is real and it is worrisome to Democrats. It could also mean the party has moved even further to the left than anyone had anticipated.
It is going to be interesting to watch this play out. When push comes to shove will the Democratic voters pull the lever for Bernie Sanders or are they just trying to send a message to Hillary Clinton?

I read something about this EPA “accident” earlier today about how a man wrote an opinion piece in the local paper one week before this and predicted it would happen so that the EPA could build a multi-million dollar facility and blame the mines.

This is the same stuff that was going on in the 60’s to brainwash kids,,,,however the majority of us saw the light and grew up and the rest went into politics and teaching, it seems. Now, with this generation of kids that have been brainwashed since the first day of school, we will see the same thing happening. The problem is, we are running out of time with the end results not looking good for any of us. I guess us middle aged “oldies” will have to step up to the plate and at least try and turn things around, if we still can. Bernie looks like such a nice grandpa, doesn’t he? Surely someone like him would not want to do any harm to our country.
What is with all this lighting up the Empire State building with questionable images? The good stuff, they refuse to put up. Who exactly is running this country?????
Steve you also mentioned that we are seeing a further to the left pull and it is with BOTH parties now, not just the Democrats. What is wrong with that picture?

The 30 somethings think back to what it must have been like in the 60’s and early 70’s and that time looked cool to them…the clothes, the dope smoking, the liberal college professors, no worries….right? Guess they are not seeing the big picture that some of us had to grow up and become functioning adults. Funny how that little tid bit is left out of the fun times. Now, you have Bernie and it seems to them that they can get a repeat of that time and now they can participate….hmmmm!

Yeah, it is both parties pulling to the left and I think it is because they both feel as if their bases are solid so they are competing for the same residual voters and to do this they have given up on holding to specific beliefs.

Thanks for sharing this. I have heard of these “trigger warnings” and it is frightening to think what is going on in our universities. What is going to happen to these people when they get out in the real world after having been coddled their whole lives? Of course they will go running to the government to protect them…

This is what happens when you wrap your kids in bubble wrap! The whole country over the past 10-20 years or so has become so PC what did we expect? Kids cannot be kids anymore and instead of fighting their own battles they have parents contacting an attorney to settle the issue. Schools cannot punish kids, so why would they be the least bit afraid of the teachers OR the principal? You can forget about punishing your kids at home, too, isn’t there a number they can call now to report you and have Children Services at your door? Then we have to wonder why these “kids” in college are so easily hurt by words? They are a special kind of snowflake, aren’t they? We have “kids” that are growing closer and closer to looking the same, doesn’t matter the gender and now we have Target not wanting to label toys as boy or girl? WTF? Ok, sorry for that,,,but WTF, again…forgive me!
Then we have Ferguson and the lack of parents involvement. If my child was involved, you can damn well believe, I would be there kicking their butt towards home, but guess there is just no parent involvement there. The police have to second guess IF they should make a move or not and possibly lose their job OR their life. What a great job to have right now! Then we have our government rebuilding and giving them money for that only for them to turn around and do it again. It takes a special kind of stupid to put money out a second time, but rest assured our government will do it. This is all under the watch of the president that was going to mend racial relations,,,,ha,,,,a fine job he has done so far. Why is it when the sh*t hits the fan that he is always on vacation and has to find out about it the same we do on the news? What is up with that? How many times does he expect us to believe him? Does this mean he has no responsibility for what is going on? Who the hell knows anymore. I do not look for the DOJ to do anything but to tie the hands of the local police or to send in people to watch those evil officers. Then we have the Oath Keepers walking the street and THEY are the bad guys that need to be closely watched? Really? Really? Ok, I think I am done for the night ranting. I just get on overload the more I read and hear.

There are several factors combining to give us the situation we have in our Country now.
We have the generation in power now which believes the government should provide everything for society – this includes controlling how our children are raised and educated; we have a soft – moving rapidly to hard – police state where LEOs violate our Rights left and right. I am not referring to individual officers, but the culture. Legislation and court rulings have allowed LEOs to act way beyond the authority the People have given them; we have a generation of parents who are apathetic regarding their children or believe them to be angels and indulge their every whim.
Our Country is in serious, serious trouble. I don’t know how these things can be corrected because over half of the Country sees nothing wrong. Not to mention that our own government is trying to destroy us from within.

Do you have a link to that, Bunker? There is so much out there, but the majority of it is trying to downplay what is going on by the media. I know there is more to it that is BAD for her and would like to see the real truth. I know, wishful thinking, but I can dream!

Ok, will have to break down and watch FOX, I swore I would stop doing that…but might have to. I can hope that some of the media will finally see the light and start fessing up to what is going on with Hillary. They are deep in this for covering so much up for this Administration, I just do not know how they can look at themselves in the mirror. I posted a video on the last Open thread that I think should be watched about contacting our senators about this IRAN crap, hope everyone will check it out. There is nothing more convincing than to see someone it has personally affected speak out on this stuff.

I listened to the first video here and then it went into the next one of Bernie out in Portland (very liberal), I just heard him say he would want to do away with Citizens United. So, now I know he would get rid of anything that might have Conservative associated to it…and they CHEERED for that. Healthcare would be a right. Single payer program. This man is as evil as Obama and maybe more so!

Lou, campaign financing needs a huge overhaul!
Our representatives are elected, by people, to do what their constituents tell them to do regarding our laws and running the Country. Our representatives should not be listening to political parties, other representatives, the president, unions, PACs, corporations, groups, special interests, lobbyists, international interests, non-constituents. They should only be listening to and obeying their constituents – the people who live in their district and can vote for them.
Since we allow anyone & everyone to donate to candidates and elected officials, our representatives no longer need the very people they were created to serve, their very reason for existence.
Candidate/elected official donations should be limited to only constituents, no one else. This will return their loyalty, obedience, and dependence to the People. Along with some type of term limits (or mandatory break between terms – wink, wink Steve ) this will get us off to a good start on taking back control of our government and Country. We have to remove money’s control of our government.
