Former State Department staffer will plead the fifth to the Congress over Hillary Clinton’s email scandal
Bryan Pagliano is a former State Department staffer who worked on Hillary Clinton’s home-brew email server and the Congress would like to have a word or two with him about the scandal, however he does not wish to have a word or two with the Congress and so he will not.
Bryan Pagliano’s attorney has informed the Congress that if and when he is issued a subpoena he will plead the fifth and will not talk.

A former State Department staffer who worked on Hillary Rodham Clinton’s private e-mail server tried this week to fend off a subpoena to testify before Congress, saying he would assert his constitutional right not to answer questions to avoid incriminating himself.
The move by Bryan Pagliano, who had worked on Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign before setting up the server in her New York home in 2009, came in a Monday letter from his lawyer to the House panel investigating the 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
The letter cited the ongoing FBI inquiry into the security of Clinton’s e-mail system, and it quoted a Supreme Court ruling in which justices described the Fifth Amendment as protecting “innocent men . . . ‘who otherwise might be ensnared by ambiguous circumstances.’ ”
“While we understand that Mr. Pagliano’s response to this subpoena may be controversial in the current political environment, we hope that the members of the Select Committee will respect our client’s right to invoke the protections of the Constitution,” his attorney, Mark MacDougall, wrote.
The Select Committee is not alone, two other Congressional Committees have also contacted Mr. Pagliano’s attorney and have apparently been told the same thing.
Of course, this is his right as protected in the Constitution of the United States so while it might be frustrating we cannot attack him for exercising his rights. However, this looks incredibly bad in the midst of a Presidential election but at this point he could be looking to save his own ass.
Let us face it; Hillary Clinton is looking for a fall guy and she does not care who needs to be taken down–even Huma Abedin had better watch her back–so I think we can see that when he quoted the Supreme Court decision about innocent men “who otherwise might be ensnared by ambiguous circumstances” Mr. Pagliano is fully away that anything he says can and will be used against him..by Hillary Clinton.

Keep a close eye on this development, as it is a major break in the case and may crack wide open, as to save their own hides from incarceration, expect people to roll over and flip, giving evidence. Should the subject stand on the Fifth and remain there, another can jump in and flip, placing the subject standing on the Fifth in peril by becoming a target of the investigation. This is most interesting. There might end up a Conga Line, where secret deals and non-prosectuction immunity offered, then suddenly, out of the woodwork will come all sorts of things. Some related. Some not related. The broadening of the investigation. Satellite investigations. Unintended situtations brought to light becoming investigations. All, the kind of stuff, that every FBI agent, relishes and savors.

If pleading the 5th, what can be done to that person? Jail or contempt? Who has the guts to stand up to Clinton? If pleading the 5th is all they have to do, then why would anyone even bother trying to convict someone else? An example is Lois Lerner. Surely there is alot of counselling going on…maybe they are having a class on it to inform the ones that might come under fire. You know that Clinton will go down fighting and she has alot of ammo left, I am sure. Do we still have enough “Country loyal” people in positions that count to make this right?

Fifth will cause a contempt charge but some believe that it is the lesser of two evils. When actually charged/indicted, then Fifth cannot cause penalty. Right now, the subject is courting a stint in federal prison, and, it will open doors for others to rush forward. Secret meetings and deals sought now, as a non-indicted subject, whips out the Fifth to save Hillary’s bacon. Others may not be willing to do prison time that rightfully belongs to Hillary. In fact, Hillary/Bill, should have the juice to avoid jail altogether but opt the hard way out as if she would become president. Okay, let’s do it, the hard way. All deals come off the table.

Yep, makes one wonder doesn’t it Lou if any of those in ‘authority or commanding positions of leadership’ are Pro-American. With all the Czars (that gives a hint right there who’s been planted in the ranks and the loyalty to the Regime), but Hilly being ‘show cased’ like this is different than before. The group doing it to her figures they’re stronger and want the prize. And that’s the spirit of behind it too. Whoever can connive, liar, cheat and steal the best wins! Need more following the Spirit of Justice, Liberty and Freedom!

As much as the DNC doesn’t want us to know, I suspect there is a big shake up going on in the ranks. They are usually the ones that stick together, but guess you throw in the evil crap of the Clintons and even THEY cannot stick together. I hope others see what the Clintons are make of and not vote for her, but we know we do not usually get what we wish for when it comes to politics.

Yes it could get very interesting indeed Brittius! I have to think that if this FBI investigation is serious somebody will be offered immunity for testimony and I have to think they will jump on it.

Probably some bad blood between the Obamas and the Clintons! I doubt that either of them make friends easily…they probably have “friends” that are only that because they are afraid of them. I know people like that….ones that no one really likes, but are afraid to not say they don’t like them. Hell, If I do not like someone, I don’t care who they are or what they might be able to do to me if I do not. But, there are people that are always afraid! So, it is a bit odd at any rate that the media is quickly backing away from supporting her. Her “strut” is even showing wear and tear as she comes out on stage!

Zip, I guess it usually makes sense where ever we put it, but it is just the anal part of us that cannot stand stuff out of place. The same when we get a word spelled wrong….it is not the end of the world, but once again “anal” and we have to explain that we spelled it wrong, when in reality it was probably read as if we had put the right word there. At least by the ones that are usually on this blog. Now, bring in a troll or someone trying to stir up shit and they will pick the spelling apart….that is when they are fair game for their punctuation, haha!

Lou, a nice neighbor told me the other day that his niece emailed him back about something he had sent and told him, “she was offended” by it. I started to thinking about later and the thought came to mind to tell him that when she uses that ‘new talk’ on him to turn it around and say, “Well, I’m offended by you’re offended!” or something like that! Anymore today the youth (esp.) say these things without even “thinking or considering what they’re saying” nor respecting the other person – no tolerance for those that don’t conform. It’s a deep seated self-serving and inconsiderate attitude (superior & prideful viewpoint) being taught and pushed on this newer generation. Parents and oldies are stupid, and don’t know what they’re talking about (esp. when the values conflict from this NEW and IMPROVED moral base – which is immoral and destructive!!! [Calling Good evil and Evil good] Your troll / shill comment brought that to mind! I hear you! 🙂

Talking about the generation that is so offended, Zip, I sure like the ones that complain about being “disrespected”! I also think it is funny when they are protesting and then come across with “don’t touch me, don’t touch me” when they have to be removed or arrested. They have become so thin skinned now, but maybe that is because they have never had to fight their own battles growing up, Mommy and Daddy did it for them or they had an attorney doing it. Personally I am OFFENDED by that!

They’re probably figuring that this older generation is dying off and the newer one is more ‘socially condition’ to adhere to their manipulation and indoctrination. Instead of the ‘ME’ generation they’ve molded the populous into the ‘NARCISSIST’ generation (bari is a prime example) – the ‘never grow up or take responsibility’ mindset – the Peter Pan syndrome on steroids – the ‘tender’ herd.

Zip, it looks as if the people working behind the veil finally have one of their own in the Vatican and he will be working hand in hand with them on these two issues as well as wealth redistribution. (Of course wealth redistribution is what global warming is all about.)
I agree Lou, people are not going to give up their guns easily but they gave been working on the minds of the children when it comes to global warming and so I think it is only a matter of time before we realists are vastly outnumbered by the initiated!

Side note: I was painting the exterior of our home and a neighbor told me it was a good thing something the County Commissioners wanted to get thru (an amendment or something) was voted down, because if they had their way I’d need a permit to do it ($$). Can you imagine! We have Czar mentalities as ‘representatives’ here and it’s repulsing. People in the small town are mostly on welfare so they vote that way, not realizing they’re giving more power to the FREEDOM STEALERS!

From me, name pronounced Breet-c-us, as it is a Latin name where the double “t” is pronounced “tz”. Hillary in the limelight can be interpreted in a few different ways. Being that it involves Hillary, deal with the worst possible conclusion as she is a bons fide snake. Smoke and mirror, to “give the impression”. Push everything out into the open prior to November 2016. Most of her rabbid base remains loyal, and imbeciles are only too willing to follow blindly. Bill Clinton already sad there’s no issue as he pardoned CIA Director for having official materials on his PC, so when the two met, Obama and Clinton, recently, you know that the fix is in, and absolutely nothing, will happen to Hillary, unless, some federal judge bucks the political system, but there too corruption favoring an elite ruling class in America.Chelsea and her husband, both “introduced” to the MSM not long ago, so expect a dynasty attempt. JFK’s daughter also had official material on her PC, but got the Pass, and is quietly away from the limelight. Hype like wresting, as the Hillary vs. Trump cagematch scheduled for November 2016, unless the DNC gets the GOP to stomp Trump, or a much weaker candidate that the masses will not vote for. If Hillary filed a Mea Culpa, then plea bargains to no time served in exchange for maybe six months house arrest and no more politics, it will kill her (and Bill’s social life with the brunette but I don’t blame him. I would need a dump truck full of Viagra, but then, I have no memory of what to do, or why I would be doing it). Huma’s connections are already placing their lobbyists to congressional members for protection, and congress is about 99.5% a bunch of Traitors that I do not trust, nor desire around women and small children. Though Trump rubs elbows with Obama and Clintons, the fear is that he will refuse to sign a clemency, and hold everyone culpable. Trump is all business. McConnell and Boehner, are not pleased, and I am very surprised that Trump signed the GOP pledge. No Trump, no vote from me, I will stay home.

I do not know about you, but I am tired of all the generational entitlements that go on with the elites! After all, aren’t they smarter than the rest of us, as well? Not! Interesting Brit .. I mean Brittius! A little history there!
The reason I asked about this is that the media has been a supported of showing Hilly (and Bill) only in a complimentary light. It just seems that the powers that be in the political vein are fighting to see which will win out. I thought Bari and Hilly were in the same evil camp, I guess not. I heard that Judicial Watch is going after Hilly, but they won a couple of rounds against Bari, who as yet to comply to the rules and regulations – he loses and ignores it, forges on regardless. I thought that ‘forward’ agenda was both of their goals, but it seems like a powerful group doesn’t want her in or is making the payment of getting in higher and more expensive than she thought!
