High school cancels “American Pride Day” event because it is too offensive

October 6, 2015

American pride dayIn recent months we have seen the PC police crack down on several colleges and universities across the nation by forcing them to cancel fundraising events which were somehow determined to be too offensive or racist, here is a brief list: a University of California fraternity was forced to cancel a fundraiser because coconut bras and grass skirts are racist; the University of St. Thomas was forced to cancel a “hump day” event because they were going to have a petting zoo which included a camel and that was deemed insensitive towards Muslims; Dartmouth University had to cancel a “phiesta” event because they were selling tacos and that was racist; the Kappa Kappa Gamma and Zeta Beta Tau fraternities were planning on holding a “jail and bail” fundraiser to raise money for ‘Reading is Fundamental but it was deemed to be racist; and Stevenson College had the gall to serve Mexican food at a space-themed event.

And now it appears as if this mentality is creeping into the high schools: the principal of Jackson Hole High School in Wyoming canceled an “American Pride Day” event because she decided it was too offensive to some students.

The JHHS Student Council and JHHS Administration selected days to ensure support of TCSD’s [school district] goal of ensuring everyone has a safe, caring, and healthy environment. America Day had many personal student comments about why that day was uncomfortable for some students.

In an effort to compromise on the title of a day, and to meet district goals, a conversation with JHHS Student Council leaders and JHHS Administration discussed alternative ways to name the day “Patriot Day” or “Heritage Day” to be inclusive. Both of these days were declined by JHHS Student Council leaders.

I guess you can only show your pride in your country if your country is not the United States of America. I cannot post the video directly but if you are interested in the local news report you can watch it here. If you follow that link you will also see how many of the students reacted: they dressed in red, white, and blue and in United States apparel and went to school in defiance of the principal.

Did you notice in the quote above how the principal tried to shift the blame for the cancellation on to the Student Council? The least this principal could have done was take the heat for the decision and not try to blame the students, and it is ironic because while attempting to explain the decision the principal talked about having the goal to let students express Democratic principals while at the same time trying to deny the students of doing just that.

Shame on these school board freaks and shame on the parents for not keeping their children out of school. The handful of anti-american immigrant students would surely appreciate the teacher to student ratio.

Fear is a common tool used to control the public. Here is an intriguing solution for one part of society’s current insanity, the immigration problem:

Great find. However, these military age men have a more important role to fill in Obama’s quest for a worldwide Caliphate. Their mission whether they know it or not is create chaos, resentment and hate between the Eurocentric citizens and the refugees.

Our local P.O. had the flag half-staff [learned that here] today. Asked Ruthie and she said it was in honor or the Oregon shooting. I told her, “Isn’t that something. They cause a false flag then honor it this way.” I told he to check some of the Utube vids a bout the crisis actors and discrepancies. – Now, when real people (not crisis actors) want to ‘honor’ their country they’re punished. Just shows the sickie and mentally ill are doing their jobs. An Admin. under a foreign god and parasite leaders.

I also read that some schools are taking any pork, ham or bacon off the menus…wonder who that could possibly offend?

I hadn’t heard that but I don’t doubt it, if you figure out who could possibly be offended let us know. 🙂
