Trey Gowdy accuses Sidney Blumenthal of possible war-profiteering? Plans to release emails to prove it

October 11, 2015

As I wrote about in this post, it appears as if the man who Barack Obama did not want to be on Hillary Clinton’s cabinet while she was Secretary of State; the man whom the former Secretary of State managed to hide on her cabinet by making him a secret adviser while apparently paying him through The Clinton Foundation, Sidney Blumenthal, had a vested interest in Libya.

It also appears as if Hillary Clinton used her position as Secretary of State to promote his business interest in Libya at the same time he was advising her on Libya, a clear conflict of interest if you ask me.

But it might be getting even worse for the former Secretary of State and one of her most trusted, albeit secret, advisers because this is what Trey Gowdy had to say in a letter to Elijah Cummings:

Sidney Blumenthal stood to benefit financially from his unofficial advice to Hillary Clinton on U.S. policy in Libya when Clinton was secretary of State, according to the Republican chairman of the House committee investigating the 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi.

“Beyond the pure politics that were occurring at this time, perhaps more disturbing is that at the same time Blumenthal was pushing Secretary Clinton to war in Libya, he was privately pushing a business interest of his own in Libya that stood to profit from contracts with the new Libyan government — a government that would exist only after a successful U.S. intervention in Libya that deposed Qaddafi,” Rep. Trey Gowdyof South Carolina said in a letter Thursday to the Benghazi panel’s top Democrat.

He did not come right out and say it but this sounds like war-profiteering to me, and it also sounds like Hillary Clinton was complicit in his endeavor. Trey Gowdy also plans to release the emails to prove it, this could get very interesting indeed…

I was surfing tonight and stopped on Obama’s interview on 60 Minutes. Comrade Obama feels Ponderosa Ass is guilty of nothing more than an ittsy-bitsy lapse of good judgement. Anyone who believes the angry black man hating attorney general will be instructed by the black Christian hating America hater in the the White House to bring charges against his accomplice in the Middle East destroying Arab Spring, get real already!

But Peter, if she just made a mistake we should just overlook it,,,,,right? You know if it had been one of us little people pulling the crap the Clintons have done,we would be serving time. Obama knows what she has done and she has done it with his blessing! I am tempted to watch the DEBATE tonight, but another part of me just cannot think of listening to her drone on and on….if I have to listen to her for 4 or 8 years, well, I will leave it at that…it is bad enough that I have had to listen to Obama and now they want to punish me further?

Taking a trip with the 4 neighbors to Rockville Indiana in the morning to the Covered Bridge Festival…also there are massive amounts of flea markets. Then to The Beef House in Covington, Indiana to eat before we come home,,,,will be a long day. That is about all the neighbors can handle, so we find things about 3 or 4 hours away at the most.

I had no intention of watching the debate, I don’t see the need for self-torture! 🙂

I watched about an hour of it. Actually after Clinton tried to take center stage (I know she was in the middle but I mean that she was trying to take control) I was reluctant to watch it any longer. I was some what impressed with Webb, he leans closer to a Conservative than I have seen in some of the Conservatives the Republican party supposedly has. Chaffee needs to be somewhere that he doesn’t have to answer questions, he has no idea what to say or how to get it out of his mouth.Sanders did alright, he actually seemed prepared, he better than I expected. O’ Malley is a light weight.

The emails and Benghazi came up in that first hour and of course Clinton said she took responsibility for Benghazi and the emails were a mistake from what I remember….so much for being held accountable. I left out Anderson Cooper, actually he impressed me (well at least a little bit), he asked the questions that the Republican debate moderators should have been asking or at least the type of questions. When they tried to fend off a question, he came right back to it, again. I thought the main difference is that the candidates do not really attack each other as the Republican candidates were doing. For some reason, the are more “civil” to each other…maybe that is because they want to attack the other PARTY…there is a new concept that the Republicans should think about.

I have to give you credit for hanging in there that long, thanks for the report. I don’t know if I can even listen to the highlights!

    Glad Trey’s on this.
‘Here is your shadow government folks!
In addition to selling America’s most sensitive secrets and accepting the payoffs via “donations” to the Clinton foundation, it has now been discovered that Hillary ran a second outsourced state department that usurped America’s own state department and did not represent the American people in any way whatsoever.
After checking up on where this originated from it ended up being Infowars, which occasionally mixes a gold nugget in with the chaff. I have edited the chaff out of this. The real scandal surrounding Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton’s private email system may be that she was running, in concert with a private consulting firm tied closely to George Soros, an outsourced and parallel State Department answerable only to her and not Obama, the Congress, or (most importantly) the American people.’ Source here, scroll down for article: http://82.221.129.208

I agree about Infowars, sometimes they have some good stuff on there but it is hard to use as a source because they often mix in things which I would consider to be dubious and because of this people write off everything that comes from there. But this is interesting and I have no doubt there is a shadow government, funded by the likes of Soros, who are pulling the strings behind the scenes and I also believe Hillary is deeply involved.
