The Department of Justice will not file charges against Lois Lerner for IRS targeting scandal
Today the Department of Injustice announced it would not be pressing charges against Lois Lerner, or any other IRS official for that matter, in the IRS Tea Party targeting scandal despite the fact she admitted to “inappropriately” targeting conservative groups.
Here is more:
No IRS official would face criminal charges arising from the political controversy over the processing of applications for tax-exempt status, the Justice Department announced Friday.
In a letter to members of Congress, the department said that while investigators had found “mismanagement, poor judgment and institutional inertia,” there was no evidence of a crime.
“We found no evidence that any IRS official acted based on political, discriminatory, corrupt or other inappropriate motives that would support a criminal prosecution,” the letter stated.
I am not going to waste any more time on this post this because we all knew this was going to be the end result and it only would have been shocking if charges were filed, after all it was mission accomplished. The fix was in on this one and it has been since the now infamous “hard drive crash” heard ’round the world.

Very disappointing.
I probably shouldn’t have been surprised since Obama controls the Justice Department.
I’m really worried about just how much of our Republic remains and how much we will be able to salvage in the future.

I also worry about what this means moving forward because this has set a precedent and I worry other Presidents are going to use the IRS to intimidate even more people. This could just be the beginning.

Were it so easy for US to skate when we are up to no good, huh? I guess if you are part evil and can be used by this Administration, then they will make sure you are well taken care of until they no longer need you and then……..well, that part gets a little messy!

OT: Hubby is going in for surgery on Tuesday. Since we got switched on insurance AFTER the Obamacare kicked in and he retired (and we pay dearly for the insurance), we are finding the insurance companies just do not want to pay as much, have higher co-pays and deductibles and almost try and make you wonder IF they will even pay out the money. We pay our premium each month and still feel like they are trying to be intimidating in the hopes you will not have the surgery. I am getting tired of being told there is NO guarantee that they will pay for something until AFTER it is done and the bill is turned in. If it is an expensive surgery, that could wipe someone out if it is not paid, or at least their part. Now, I am sure if you have Obamacare or Medicaid it is ALL paid for by US….what is wrong with this picture? I am venting, actually, so if no one wants to respond, that is ok too! ;(

It seems that the UNCare was to put money in the Insurance pocket and opening the door for them to jack up prices, while limiting what’s covered. Another ‘change’ for the worst! May your hubby receive good care and ‘fix’ Lou.

OT: I just read this and it is not long, but interesting. I think these kind of sound bites should be used by anyone that can post of send something. This woman is pure evil and she doesn’t CARE what anyone thinks of her, that is a dangerous combination. I have seen people like her before and they are not ones I would want having control of MY life.
