Bette Midler blames warm Christmas season on ‘climate deniers’ despite NOAA’s admission it is natural
According to this story Bette Midler is blaming “ignorant selfish climate deniers” for the beautiful weather we are enjoying this Christmas season.
Here is what she tweeted earlier today:
Dec. 22, 2015, 63 degrees in NYC. I would like to thank the ignorant selfish climate deniers for all their goodwill toward the planet
I find that to be strange because just last week a NOAA official, Mike Halpert, stated that this warm weather was natural and was not being caused by global warming. She must have conveniently missed that story, as well as the story that NASA, just six days ago, admitted that burning fossil fuels actually cools the planet.
But of course she is pushing a political agenda, and not an environmental agenda as the global warming alarmists would like us to believe, and the end justifies the means so even if she did read these stories she would have ignored them.
Why do I care about what one liberal Hollywood elitist has to say about this? Normally I would not however I believe her statement is typical of what we can expect to hear from the global warming alarmists if this weather continues: they will blame and denigrate climate deniers (which by the way is an offensive term because they are using it to equate us with Holocaust deniers) despite the fact NASA has admitted the truth, albeit probably by mistake.

Bette, you are a moron, and I never cared for your music or movies. But as a proud “ignorant selfish climate deniers” I say YOU’RE WELCOME! The east coast has had 4 years of record cold and snow and the high utility bills that come with it. So, enjoy the sun and lack of snow shoveling and thank a denier.

It is depressing Laura because there is really no way to make these people understand that just because a person is famous it doesn’t make their opinion any more valuable. Just because they have a soapbox doesn’t mean they gave anything interesting to say.

I don’t see where Nixon was seeing the ‘homo’ part of All in the Fam, but what he did see was the ripping of moral social fabric and the breaking down of ethics that took down the Greeks … he was lying about that!

For those of you not around at this time Nixon was right on point. He said nothing outside the boundaries of truth or am I missing something? Although bought and sold by special interests not unlike today’s career politicians, the politicians of those days were all true red blooded Americans not out to destroy the country like Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bernard Sanders and Obama Lite-Bubba Clinton. Even LBJ who did more to cement into the belief system of the average negro through entitlements the lie that the democrat party even while voting against his civil rights agenda which was salvaged by the republicans in congress, was the negro’s party, was a true american. And surely most of us of that generation believe that while on one hand the Vietnam war was conducted for the benefit of the gov’t contractors it was also an effort to stop the spread of communism in Southeast Asia ala the domino effect. Of course the corrupt myopic advisors in both administrations led us to military defeat and the true irony of course is that while fighting communism abroad both LBJ and RMN allowed the bureacracies to be infiltrated and eventually dominated by the left. We can see today where this has led the country as gov’t incrementally has made inroads into if completely dominated every aspect of our lives and institutions, most glaringly education where today freedom of speech is close to non-existent. Nixon, for all of his flaws, a POTUS done in by 18 minutes of missing tape, while Hillary has committed as Secretary of State treasonous acts, while first lady tried to perpetrate a health care scam that makes Obama care look good, after carpetbagging her way into the senate via New York (wow are the NY voters complete assholes) promoting the leftist agenda to strip away our first amendment rights and is within a cunt’s hair of being elected POTUS. Nixon, like it or not, was a true American as was Archie Bunker.
This is a simplistic overview but what the hell we do what we can to enlighten the unenlightened younger generation. Merry Christmas 🎅

Yes, could’ve been. The ‘evolution’ of mankind via the ‘god of this world’ that took control from Adam all those years back after conning Eve and him. But these were all independently written stories with just a remarkable coincidence making them sound all the same, right? The people were laughing as they listened to this but I don’t think it is all that funny because it shows us every report is well scripted.

Steve, I think it’s more likely that all these stations got the same story from one source. They all said ‘economic factors’ that makes me think that the story came from some type of government office or other organization – my mind is drawing a blank right now.
It’s like other national news that local stations report, they get the story from whichever national network sponsors their channel – NBC, CBS, ABC – who, in turn, got their info from the original source – government or whatever.
However, that does not change the fact that these groups – government, media/entertainment – are trying to control us – there is no doubt about that.

Did you ever go to your doctor and ask hi what car you should buy? Go to your lawyer and ask him advice on morality? (hell no.) Why, oh why would anyone give one hoot what an entertainer thinks about politics? Midler sings good, is funny….but who cares? I love Bruce Springsteen’s music.
