Elizabeth Warren endorses Bernie Sanders’ Wall Street plan

January 6, 2016

Elizabeth Warren has not endorsed a candidate in the Democratic primary as of yet but today she did give what amounts to an endorsement of Bernie Sanders’ Wall Street plan. Here is more:

U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, one of the nation’s strongest proponents of financial reform, praised Bernie Sanders’ plan to hold Wall Street accountable Wednesday in a move that could rally support for his struggling presidential campaign.

“I’m glad @BernieSanders is out there fighting to hold big banks accountable, make our economy safer, & stop the GOP from rigging the system,” Warren tweeted of Sanders’ Wall Street plan, which he announced in a speech in New York City Tuesday. She also wrote: “11 big banks are still so risky that if any one started to fail, they’d need a gov bailout or risk taking down the economy — again,” and then added in a series of tweets supporting Sanders, “We need to level the playing field and end too big to fail.”

elizabeth-warren This really is not a big surprise as Bernie Sanders has adopted Elizabeth Warren’s Wall Street agenda and is basically saying the same things, almost word for word, that the Senator from Massachusetts has been saying since she beat Scott Brown.

However, Elizabeth Warren is a rising star in the Democratic party and there was a segment of the party that wanted her to run for the Presidency this time around as the anti-Hillary candidate. Bernie Sanders is running what I believe is the same campaign she would have run if she decided to enter the race so it will be interesting to see if Bernie Sanders is able to capitalize (pun fully intended) on this quasi-endorsement.

I am not sure if this will have a big effect on the race or not because I believe most of Elizabeth Warren’s potential supporters are already backing Bernie Sanders as the anti-Hillary candidate. But still it could cause some of the former Secretary of State’s supporters who are on the fringe to take another look at Bernie Sanders. I guess time will tell…

I really did expect her to run, just not sure what happened. I think she had a pretty good backing. Is it possible that she would have been a more formidable opponent than Sanders and she was told to stand down by the Clintons? Who knows.

I honestly thought she was going to run as well, perhaps the powers that be “convinced” her not to screw up Hillary’s chance.

We know that Clinton is getting a bit miffed over this “Bill” stuff going on…think she must have figured the bimbos were all under wraps. Then she sends him out to stump for her, thinking he is her ace in the hand and he is getting hit with questions and she is as well about him being a sexual predator. I figure with Bill Cosby in the news too, it would be “racist” if Cosby were attacked and not Clinton. I hope it keeps up, she will lose her cool. Add to that the Benghazi movie getting ready to come out,,,,I think she will blow. It could not happen to nicer people….you know just because they are now older and grandparents, they are still the slime they always were, that doesn’t change.

Okay Lou, the clown is a bit creepy! 🙂
I honestly think that Hillary did not think the bimbos would be a problem, after all she feels as if she is above the law. (And it looks like she probably is) But then Trump brought it up in response to something she said and now with Cosby in the news this might be a real problem for her.

We can only hope it is a BIG problem for her. As much as I would like to think the “bimbos” as Hillary calls them could be a problem, I wonder if the Benghazi movie might not be the worst of the two things? There are more people that will probably go to the show and when they actually SEE it on the screen, might ingrain in them what probably happened. We can hope it might be a game changer. I know that the emails are moving right along, as well, but might not be in time. I think that James Comey is probably honest and I think he probably has alot in the FBI that will back him….I can only hope that AG Lynch doesn’t have more sway to do something to him…she cannot get rid of him since he is there for a year or two more, but you know how things work in this Administration…not always “legal”!
I put the clown up for ZIP, ok, I will put it down…and add something that will not be creepy
