Barack Obama releases thousands of Fast and Furious documents previously sealed under Executive Privilege

  Back in 2012, when the investigation into the Fast and Furious scandal seemed to be closing in on Eric Holder, the Attorney General asked Barack Obama to invoke Executive Privilege to seal thousands of documents related to the gunrunning scandal.  The President naturally obliged him and eventually the Congress voted to hold Eric Holder in Contempt. But of course this is as far as it went, it would have been a shock if Eric Holder’s Injustice Department actually sought charges against the person in charge of the department. And this bring us to today:

  The White House announced today that the Obama regime is releasing thousands of documents which were previously held secret when the President invoked Executive Privilege despite the fact the option was available to file another appeal.

Four years after asserting executive privilege to block Congress from obtaining documents relating to a controversial federal gun trafficking investigation, President Barack Obama relented Friday, turning over to lawmakers thousands of pages of records that led to unusual House votes holding Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt in 2012.

Both sides had until midnight Friday to file an appeal. Instead, the Obama administration turned over a set of documents to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

“In light of the passage of time and other considerations, such as the Department’s interest in moving past this litigation and building upon our cooperative working relationship with the Committee and other Congressional committees, the Department has decided that it is not in the Executive Branch’s interest to continue litigating this issue at this time,” Justice Deparment legislative liaison Peter Kadzik wrote in a letter Friday to House Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah).

  However this is where the story gets interesting: earlier today the regime filed an appeal before pulling it back.

it did file an appeal earlier Friday afternoon, apparently unaware of the administration’s plans to comply with the judge’s order. The appeal suggested that House leaders were dissatisfied with aspects of Jackson’s rulings that narrowed the set of documents the administration had to turn over.

  I find it hard to believe there was a misunderstanding within the Obama regime about the intentions of the President, but maybe I am wrong.

Here is a little background before I get into my theory as to why the Obama regime has suddenly decided to release the documents: Hillary Clinton’s State Department was deeply involved in the gunrunning scheme. Before the scandal came to light America’s Watchtower made the prediction that the Obama regime was going to use Hillary Clinton’s  90% lie to push for more gun control and to gain support with the American people for the United Nation’s small arms treaty. 

  Once the lie was exposed the Obama regime set Operation Fast and Furious into motion in order to prove the lie was the truth. They did this by forcing some gun shop owners to sell weapons to straw purchasers, knowing the weapons would fall into the hands of known criminal thereby proving the lie was the truth. Unfortunately this led to the deaths of Brian Terry, Jamie Zapata, and countless hundreds of Mexican citizens.

  With that history lesson behind us I return to the present: I find the timing of this decision to be quite interesting to say the least. Why would the Obama regime decide to release the documents now when an appeal would have likely pushed the decision passed the Democratic convention?

  I have been of the long-standing belief that Barack Obama has been holding a grudge against the Clinton’s since the 2008 election. At this point Barack Obama has nothing to lose so is it possible that the President is trying to undermine Hillary Clinton’s last chance at becoming President?  

  I believe that Bernie Sanders holds political beliefs which are much more in line with Barack Obama’s agenda than does Hillary Clinton. Could Barack Obama see this as an opportunity to exact revenge against the Clinton’s while at the same time helping the candidate who is closer to his heart without coming right out and endorsing him?

  This is only speculation on my part, we will not know anything until we actually see these documents, but I would not put it passed the thin-skinned President to leave Hillary Clinton with this parting gift. Barack Obama would not willingly release these documents when he could have filed an appeal unless it furthered some aspect of his agenda…
